This 1995 Mercedes-Benz G36 AMG was modified by AMG Japan and imported to the US by the selling dealer in 2023. The truck is powered by an AMG-tuned 3.6-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) over black leather upholstery, equipment includes 18″ AMG wheels, three locking differentials, inward-facing folding jump seats, heated and power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a Pioneer head unit with Apple Car Play and a rear mounted sub woofer. Recent service includes a transmission service and new water pump. Now showing 194k kilometers (~120k miles), this W463 is offered by the selling dealer with manufacturer’s literature, the original leather AMG owner's manual, Japanese service records, one key FOB, one additional spare key, and a clean Florida title.
This G wagen is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) and a matching spare tire cover. The front end features a brush guard and dual squared side-exit AMG exhausts tips can be seen on the driverside. Additional features include projector lens headlights, halogen foglights, window visors, and tinted windows. The truck features factory enlarged fender flares along with added carbon fiber trim. The seller notes the body is clean with the only imperfection being a small dot of rust starting under the roof gutter on the rear passenger side. An AMG VIN tag is located on the inner driver door and an AMG Japan sticker on the rear door.
Silver 18″ AMG wheels are wrapped with 265/60 Bridgestone Dueler H/P tires. A full-size spare is located under a cover mounted to the rear door. The truck features solid front and rear axles, and stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drums.
The interior is upholstered in black leather and the front seats are heated and electrically adjustable. Burl walnut trim accents the dashboard and center console with an AMG signature visible between the window switches. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, a Pioneer stereo with Apple Car Play and a rear mounted sub woofer, inward-facing folding jump seats in the rear cargo area, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks.
The leather and wood-wrapped steering wheel frames AMG instrumentation including a 260-km/h speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, fuel-level and temperature gauges, and a set of digital displays. The digital odometer shows 194k kilometers (~120k miles).
The M104 inline-six was modified by AMG with a stroker crankshaft increasing the displacement to 3.6-liters. Power was rated at 276 horsepower and 284 lb-ft of torque when new. Japanese service records accompany the truck and an AMG 3.6-labeled air intake housing is noted. Recent service in preparation for the sale includes a tranmssion service and new water pump. The seller notes the Hi-Lo ranges work properly as well as the diff couplers.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and locking front, rear, and center differentials that can be engaged via dashboard-mounted switches. Additional underbody photos are viewabe in the gallery below.
