@AigulCongrats, thank you very much for bidding and winning this amazing car
This car was never ordered with a phone
@Pizdets4u Happy holidays as well! No factory phone and no massage, acceleration and driving joy provide the adequate relaxation. Trunk lid shows a bit thicker and some spot work with blending to the two rear quarters. Meters 4s and 6s so I don't believe that it has been hit. Interior seems to be all original which is consistent with the miles. Good luck bidding!
@rbassousIt has a newer gen coil on plug system for the M120 7.0, no expected harness issues
@rbassousIt is beleived that 125 7.0 M120 engines were built. These were installed in W140, C140 and R129 Mercedes platforms, as well as Pagani Zonda C12-S (21 units) and Zonda GR (1 unit) . Exact numbers per vehicle chassis type are not very clear, but very slim and rare indeed. #59 refers to the 59th of around 125 engines made.
@kk3249All AMG components including the 7.0 number are correctly stamped verifying authenticity. Paperwork is not available from AMG as in many of these cars.
@zyyzs One of AMG’s most significant period modifications, was the 7.0 V12 that reportedly powers the car to 60mph in 5.2 seconds and to a top speed of 186mph. The engine (of which is believed about 125 were ever made) is the same unit used Pagani Zonda C12-S and Zonda GR, as well as the Mercedes SL70 AMG. Engine shows correct AMG number stamped on the engine block, as well are the identifying place on the engine's cover spine (Pictures in the gallery)
@TBradthank you! Very kind
Auction lot description notes: The datacard reports an 11/1995 build date with first registration noted in 1997. This S70 AMG is now offered for sale with a 7.0 stamped engine block, the original owner's manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
@gsxr you are absolutely on point as always. Thank you for your input. What really makes the car is the stamped 7.0 AMG powerplant and coil-on-plug. It is a very responsive, fast and enjoyable flagship W140 with a unicorn heart. The rest is semantics that are timely and correctly stated from the beginning in the ad’s description.
@maxx if you read the whole description, the last paragraph says so.
@galshkaki photo #91 is most likely a poorly placed floor jack used once, as everything else around looks straight. and clean. Paint meter readings show what seems to be spot work on the trunk cover and blending to rear quarters, but very consistent just in the 6's. Regarding the switch, as stated, this is a Japan market car. One key comes with it. It was acquired from a very prominent collection in the Middle East that performed all maintenance inhouse, including the harnesses replacement. Transmission reseal was performed by us inhouse by our tech , including some oil lines replaced from the engine and new tires were fitted. Paperwork of the parts purchased will be available with the purchase to the winning bidder.
It's a joy to see this car, what a beauty
Cool car, let's break the ice. @seller any engine upgrades?
Thought I’d break the ice ;)
Seller congrats! contested last few minutes, congrats @tonsofgas for the purchase
Wow, 3-piece is life
This car checks all the boxes, might be a next car obsession
