This 1995 Mercedes-Benz SL500 was sold new in Texas and shows registration in Texas, Massachusetts and currently Florida where it is being offered for sale by the selling dealer. Finished in Imperial Red (582) over Beige Mushroom Leather (275), power is provided by a 5.0-liter M119 V8 and this two-seater roadster shows just under 44k miles on the odometer. Equipment includes a power soft top, removable paint-matched hardtop, power adjustable seats with memory, automatic climate control, a Bose sound system and 16” aluminum alloy wheels. Recent service shows four new Michelin tires as well as new hydraulic cylinders for the power top. This car is now offered for sale by the selling dealer out of West Palm Beach, Florida with two keys, owners manual and a clean Florida title.
The exterior of this SL500 is finished in Imperial Red (582) paint with matching lower body cladding. @Jhoagg Original owner died and I can't recover any records, I just confirm when two years ago hi replaced all convertible top pistons Regards Ernest
I have received no reply to my inquiry (sent directly to seller) concerning replacement of the original faulty engine wiring harness used in all 1995 SLs. Unless seller confirms replacement of the defective harness, all potential buyers should budget at least $1,000 for immediate replacement.

As a 1995 MY, the car left the factory with the defective bi-degradable insulation in the engine wiring harnesses. Have they been replaced? If not, they will require replacement.
