This 1999 Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG is one of just 546 examples produced for the US market that year and shows just over 80k miles. This W202 AMG sedan was purchased by the seller in 2006 and has remained garage-kept and registered in Florida. It is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) over Two-Tone Gray/Black AMG Exclusive Leather (588) interior, and power comes from a 4.3-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes an added decklid spoiler, heated and 10-way power-adjustable sport seats, 17” AMG Monoblock wheels, halogen headlamps with bumper-integrated fog lamps, rain-sensing wipers, heated windscreen washer system, and a glass sunroof. Recent services include an oil service, new spark plugs, and a new battery in 2022. This C43 is now offered by the 16-year owner with two factory keys, manufacturer’s literature, various service records, an included Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
The exterior is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) and features a sculpted AMG body kit with more aggressive styling on the front bumper, side skirts and rear apron. In addition, a decklid spoiler has been added. Additional features included halogen headlights, a front license plate mount, fog lights, rain-sensing wipers, twin chrome exhaust outlets, and a power tilting and sliding sunroof. The included Carfax report shows minor damage to the C43 as a result of a rear-end accident and the airbags did not deploy according to the report. The seller notes light rock chips on the nose of the car and cracks in the lower fog lamp lenses.
Factory staggered 17” AMG Monoblock wheels are finished in silver with machined lips and remain in good condition with the front right wheel showing minor curb rash. The wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires measuring 225/45 up front and 245/40 out back with 2015 date codes.
The interior is trimmed in Two-Tone Gray/Black AMG Exclusive Leather (588) with a matching steering wheel and door panels. Burl walnut trim accents the dashboard, doors, and center console. Amenities include power-adjustable and heated front seats, automatic climate control, auto-dimming mirrors, and a Bose stereo system featuring the original Becker head unit. The front driver’s seat shows some creasing and discoloration in the Silver leather insert and the footwells show original C43 AMG floor mats.
White AMG instrument dials include a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer along with gauges for temperature and fuel level. Digital readouts display the time and outside temperature while the digital odometer shows just over 80k original miles.
The AMG-tuned 4.3-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 302 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. Recent services include an oil service, new spark plugs, and a new battery in 2022. Additional pictures of the underside are available in the gallery below.
This C43 is now offered by the longterm owner with two factory keys, manufacturer’s literature, various service records, an included Carfax report showing linear mileage updates, and a clean Florida title.
First and foremost, the W202 C43 AMG was destined to be a drivers car amongst its larger stablemates from Affalterbach. Recent trends in values have kept many of the remaining C43's in garages and off the roads as owners speculate future values along side cars like the C36 AMG, ML55 AMG, and legendary W210 E55 AMG. We emphasize the long-term ownership of this example because so many of these cars have traded hands every few years and almost two decades of ownership shows commitment to maintenance and preservation. We expect to see cars like this stand the test of time as naturally aspirated V8's are phased out of the market. In short, this is a true enthusiasts car owned by a true enthusiast.

@JAdkins79 I agree! Especially with the two tone interior
@GRR21 Has been a great car with its timeless design and performance
I remember seeing these new on the showroom floor back in the day. These were THE AMG car to have. Everyone wanted a car touched by amg and to think you could get a hotrod sedan with a v8 was a big deal when these came out. Awesome car and GLWA!

Sweet cars, relatively simple by Benz standards -- insert big motor in little car, go fast! What a concept! From the era when Benz build quality was top of the industry. A historic car - the first planned-from-scratch AMG/MB model - the first AMG/MB V8 officially offered through the US dealers (joined by the E55 in 1999), relatively rare then, even more so now. Sure to appreciate in the future. I know mine has since I bought it. GLWS!

@cavanok The spoiler is drilled on. No photos from accident since there was no visible damage from the accident, a few minor scratches that were corrected. It was three car collision in which the 3rd car struck the middle car which then light tapped the back of my car. We remained at the scene due to the other cars involved in the accident, that is why an accident is reported on the car history.
Any photos from the accident? Rear spoiler glued or drilled on? Thx
