This 1999 Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG Wagon was originally ordered for and sold new in Japan as 1 of 772 examples. It was exported to Canada in 2015 and the current owner and seller has owned the wagon for approximately 4 years. It currently shows 140,556 (~87k miles) from new. Finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) over Exclusive Anthracite AMG Leather (581) interior, power comes from an AMG-tuned 4.3-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes heated and 10-way power-adjustable sport seats, 17” AMG Monoblock wheels, factory AMG body kit, rain-sensing wipers, heated windscreen washer system, a power sunroof, and a cargo cover and cargo net for the rear. Records since importation have been kept by the owner and recent services include valve cover gaskets, new spark plugs, and an oil service. This C43 AMG Wagon is now offered by the seller with two keys, manufacturer’s literature, service records, and a clean Canada title.
The exterior is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) and features a sculpted AMG body kit with more aggressive styling on the front spoiler, side skirts and rear apron. Additional features included headlight wipers, fog lights, rain-sensing wipers, and a power tilting and sliding sunroof. Dual AMG stamped exhaust outlets are seen from the back, and detailed photos of the entire exterior are viewable below.
Factory staggered 17” AMG Monoblock wheels are finished in silver with machined lips and remain in good condition. The wheels are wrapped in Bridgestone tires measuring 225/45 up front and 245/40 out back. A full-size AMG monoblock spare wheel is located under the trunk floor.
The interior is trimmed in Exclusive Anthracite AMG Leather (581) with a matching steering wheel and door panels. Black Birdseye veneer accents the dashboard, doors, and center console. Amenities include power-adjustable and heated front seats with operational air bladders, automatic climate control, auto-dimming mirrors, and a Bose stereo system. The interior wood and leather remains well preserved and the original C43 AMG embroidered floor mats are included.
White AMG instrument dials include a 280-kph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer along with gauges for temperature and fuel level. Digital readouts display the time and outside temperature while the digital odometer shows just over 140,556 (~87k miles).
The AMG-tuned 4.3-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 302 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. Records since importation have been kept by the owner and recent services include valve cover gaskets, new spark plugs, and an oil service.
The Canadian ICBC report shows imporation from Japan in 2015 and no damages reported. This C43 AMG Wagon is now offered by the seller with two keys, manufacturer’s literature, service records, and a clean Canada title.

I'm late to the game here, but when they were new, I got to drive one as a press car in Europe and absolutely fell in love with it. Great performance, nimble, distinctive, useful--it had it all. Wish they had come to the U.S. Love my E55 wagon, but this would probably have been even better.
@Savva44 thank you.
@Carguytim Thank you for your input, however it’s an Auction of Buying Cars not a babysitting clases. Info, pictures and video were all there…. Feel free to use your own judgement & experience… Marry Christmas and Happy Holidays Season to All 🎄
This is the perfect example of what NOT to do as a seller. Definitely shot himself in the foot on this one.
Ah, bummer this one didn't go. Definitely a peak and unique 202 here but we 202 fans know the market doesn't value these cars like we do.
I"m interested please reach out
Hope @Keyvan and the seller can reach a deal :)
I think it passed today’s market value.!
This C43 looks amazing. W202 is definitely the coolest C class. Good luck with the auction

Good Day and welcome to the final hour of this Auction for 1999 MB C43t Estate. I could not locate my paint meter reader. Yes, there is evidence of paint job present, based on my car experience judgement. Quality of paint job is excellent and colour match is perfect. W202 C43t is an amazing machine and I truly enjoyed it over the years! Thank you to all interested parties and all bidders. Local pick up preferred, however I will do my best to assist with shipping and making and importation process easy and smooth! Any questions? Just ask… Best Regards and Happy Holidays Season, Arseni

What is the reserve price?
Hopefully, it is going to be good for me. I just came to buy this car. Usually, I am not watching mb market, but I didn't see any paint meter pictures yet!
@hobbsm3 thank you for the kind words))
@ArseniRus - Mine is a 1998 and it turns a lot of heads. A V8 in a small-ish Estate was the coolest idea ever. The monoblocs compliment the car so well and the interior is so well appointed. Great commentary by @unclefred1 et al - why I am not surprised you like this car! We have the same tastes I wish you all the best in the closing hours, congrats in advance to the new owner.

Thanks for adding more info…it all helps with provenance 👍. This is a very lovely unicorn here in the US. There are a couple in Europe that are currently for sale, but they aren’t as nice as this one! And it would be a big deal to get one over here…close to $5K between shipping, duties, and fees alone.😖 So, Being US registrable, it being from Canada, is a big deal. I have a ‘93 600SL that was also Canadian, and it’s the best of both worlds…better tuned and unique. I doubt there are other more than one or two c43 wagons in the US, so its uniqueness is valuable. I give estimates based on market and condition on various sites, and to my clients. I really like this car, and if I had room I’d be on it big time. I have it at $37,500, but it could go higher if bidders get frisky…let’s see what happens.! I won’t be able to see the end of the auction (inspecting some cars here in LAs Vegas), so I wish the bidders good luck, and will envy the new caretaker!😁👍 Best to all!👌
@Hamilton89 Your comment and bid are Much Appreciated

sexy wagon!
Paint meter readings will be submitted in the morning. Thank you to all who commented and looked at My 1999 MB C43t Estate auction. Best Regards, Arseni
@dougdemuro thank you for your IG comment! Ask and You Shall Receive 🎄
@MedianMB Thank you for your question. Yes, wood is original, however slightly lighter due to the sunlight exposure. This is typical “issue” on 2002 MB SL500 Silver Arrow (R129). Wood could be re-cleared to an original tinge…
@nnnick Most recent service record will be updated by @thembmarket in timely fashion
@UncleFred1 thanks for your input, full video been posted! Also, importation to the US is fairly easy if you know what you are doing. Car is over 25 years old and W202 C43 sedans (same drive train, exhaust and Catalytics) been Sold and allowed to US when new. This is Not a Selling dealer. There are many highly knowledgeable and professional companies who could assist in completing this transaction. Get the popcorn ready!
@nnnick Thank be you kindly for your inquisitive interest in my Auction! Underside photos and video posted showing No Rust. Video of This beautiful car showing all answers to your question been posted. Thank you very much @thembmarket
@hobbsm3 Great to hear! I hope you have W202 C55t!!! Which area are you in?
@GoBoGo Appreciate your story and kind words. Still have a soft spot for 1991 MB 300D!! Had many W124’s))
@VIGIL thank you for kind comment!
@dean_Laumbach thank you for the kind words and Good Luck wishes. C43t truly an amazing car and drives much better than E55 wagons! Been your fan for long time and your BaT auctions never cease to amaze me! Happy Holidays Season and all the Best to You as well!

Hey @ArseniRus -- I'm not a tire kicker, I'm seriously interested in the car. Underside photos? Cold start video? Driving video? I also notice the listing says the car is offered "with service records" but none are uploaded. Can you please upload so we can see what's been done?
It would be appreciated if the Seller can provide the videos requested, especially a functions one showing that everything is working properly…windows, roof, radio, locks, exterior lights, etc. Only takes about 5 minutes with a cell phone. Chassis photos showing its condition also important as noted previously by @nnnick1. Will give folks peace of mind to bid!😉 Also, any feedback on importation to the US? I can’t tell if this is a dealer selling it who can handle that aspect of the transaction…please advise!👌
It appears that the wood trim along the top of the dash does not match the rest of the wood trim. Is that correct or is there some lighting issue causing it to look that way? It would surprise me if it came that way from MB, but I have no specific knowledge about it.
Hi seller @ArseniRus -- can you post underside photos so we can check for rust? And can you post a video of this car (not just a generic C43 video) -- ideally showing a cold start, idle, and then a drive? Thank you!

I remember driving a C43 Sedan in Lexington, KY. My parents were picking up their 2000 S430 (and going through all the "COMMAND" training) so I took out a C43--the acceleration was intoxicating! I remember going through all sorts of mental gymnastics trying to figure out how to buy one but finally came back to earth and realized I couldn't manage the payment at the time so I happily kept driving my '91 300D--which is evidently still alive, despite my grandson's best efforts to kill it, well past 250K miles. This is really nifty; hope it sells strongly! GLWTA!

100% agreement with Dean…these are special cars. And in the classic color combo. Let’s see what happens…I’m in!👍😁
Good lord look at that.
$10,000 bid placed by @VIGIL
I was 29 years old when this car was new. The C43 sedan was the car I most desired , but my budget afforded me a pre owned C280. Great car nevertheless, and I never look back with regrets. Now at my age, this is even more attractive being an Uber rare wagon. Love the early AMGs for their aggressive styling and the fact that they are analog cars that most independent shops and even weekend wrench turners can maintain themselves. Very hot youngtimer collector car on the block here !!! Best of luck. Dean
So sweet.
