This 2000 Mercedes-Benz S500 shows just 59k miles and has been registered in New Jersey and Florida since new. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2021, the car is finished in Smoke Silver Metallic (702) over a Safron (234) leather interior and powered by a 5.0-liter V8 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. In preparation for the sale, the dealer completed an oil and fluid service, replaced the battery, and replaced the rear passenger air strut. Features include xenon headlamps, a power-operated glass sunroof, heated front and rear seats, burl walnut trim, front and rear four-zone automatic climate control, and soft-closing doors and trunk lid. This S500 is now offered with recent service, a first aid kit, a tool kit, factory manuals and literature, two keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
The exterior is finished in Smoke Silver Metallic (702) with chrome side moldings and wing-mounted turn signals. Additional features include a power-operated glass sunroof and xenon headlamps with washers. The paint is believed to be all original and is free from visible flaws or imperfections. Close-up photos of the paint condition are viewable in the gallery.
Factory 16″ Carmenta II alloy wheels are fitted at all four corners and wear Continental ContiProContact tires measuring 225/60. This S-class is equipped with the optional heated windscreen washing system.
The interior is upholstered in Safron (234) leather with burl walnut trim on the center console, center stack, dash, and door panels. Amenities include heated front and rear seats with power adjustability and memory package for the driver and front passenger, a power-assisted soft-closing system for the doors and the trunk lid, front and rear four-zone automatic climate control, and a factory COMAND infotainment system with navigation with a Bose amplifier. The selling dealer notes that the passenger side sunvisor mirror does not stay lit unless the cover is held in the fully open position.
The leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel is mounted to a power-adjustable column and fronts instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer shows just over 59k miles, approximately 100 of which have been added by the selling dealer.
The M113 5.0-liter V8 is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. Output was rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque when new. In preparation for the sale, the dealer completed an oil and fluid service, replaced the battery, and replaced the rear passenger air strut.
Additional underbody photos are provided in the extensive 400+ photo gallery.
The August 2021 Carfax report is free of accidents and other issues, and it includes entries for service and registration in New Jersey and Florida spanning only two owners.

@Peymantab Hi, yes, shipping to UAE would not be a problem. A customs broker would handle everything. Thanks
@Homthtrnut2021 Hi, figure it would be around $1500 to ship door to door. Thanks

Any idea what shipping to Las Vegas would be?

I just wanted to say how impressed I am that on the center caps, the three pointed stars are all aligned with 5 star pattern of the lug nuts. I thought I was the only one who cared about that. GLWA

@lyons oh, ok. I understand what you’re talking about. Yes, it does seem to be a little less shiny than the rest of the trim. One option would be to have a body shop sand it and clear it. Thanks

Thank you! Happy to hear about the 100 miles, appreciate the info. All of the photos and video show the wood trim by the passenger srs airbag as being milky and not the deep brown of the other wood (it's not the glare). This happens sometimes with age of the lacquer when exposed to sun (it gets cloudy instead of clear lacquer over the wood) so I was wondering if this is easy to fix. Looks like the car spent a lot of time in FL so that makes sense.
@lyons Hi, I don’t see that the wood on the passenger side is milky. Can you please tell me what number photo you’re seeing that in? The car was thoroughly inspected. The brakes are good. I personally drove this car over 100 miles and it performed flawlessly in every way. Yes, the temperature has pixels out and the plastic base of the driver seat has some cracks. I’m not sure if the plastic covers are easily sourced and replaced but I will look into that and let you know. Yes, the climate control and A/C work perfectly. Most of the time I drove the car for those 100+ miles, it was around 85-90 degrees out. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks
Hi there, a few questions. I see that the wood trim on the dash has completely gone milky on the passenger side. Is there an easy fix for this? Also the tires are 14 years old, so I was wondering what the condition of the brakes were. Can you confirm that the display screen with the temperature has pixels out and that the front seat bases are cracked, are there easy fixes for these? Does the climate control and A/C work perfectly? Thanks!
