This 2001 Mercedes-Benz E320 was sold new in New York in May of 2001 and is one of very few designo Expresso Editions produced. Showing registration in New York and Indiana, the seller bought the car from the son-in-law of the original owner earlier in 2025. The car is finished in designo Mocha Black (033) over designo Light Brown Leather (X35) and powered by a 3.2-liter M112 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes xenon headlights with washer system, fog lights, factory COMAND with navigation, multi-contour heated and ventilated seats for driver and passenger, a sunroof, exit lights for driver’s door, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Recent service includes oil service, coolant flush, and a new fuel filter. This W210 currently shows just over 39k miles and is offered by the selling dealer with records since new, original window sticker, jack, tool kit, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean Wisconsin title.
This E320 is finished in designo Mocha Black (033) which was an exceedingly rare option and available for very late production run cars though no production numbers are available. The bronze chrome trim typically seen around the exterior glass is painted in designo Mocha Black along with painted door handles with bright chrome trim tracing the lower beltline of the car. Additional equipment includes xenon headlights with headlamp washers, fog lights, a glass sunroof with tilt function, rain-sensing windshield mono-wiper, and exit lights for the driver's door. The seller notes some touchup paint is seen on the driver’s door. The seller states there is no rust and the previous family said the car was never driven in winter conditions. Paint meter readings are included in the gallery and the car shows original glass.
Factory 11-hole light alloy wheels are fitted with Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 tires mounted at 19k miles measuring 215/55 on all four corners with 2020 date codes. A spare tire is mounted beneath the trunk floor along with the factory toolkit and jack. The W210 came standard with BAS, ESP, and ABS and features rack-and-pinion steering.
The cabin is finished in designo Light Brown Leather (X35) adorning the front seats, rear seats, headrests, and door cards. designo-exclusive Natural Elm wood trim accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Other amenities include heated and ventilated perforated multicontour front seats, factory COMAND with navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, the Memory Package, an alarm system, and BOSE premium sound. The factory designo floor mats still accompany the car and are pictured in the gallery with their matching leather piping and embossed designo badge. The interior shows in excellent condition with no damage to the elm wood veneer.
The elm wood and perforated leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a VDO 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The multi-function steering wheel is able to operate volume, radio stations, and toggle driving data through the center LCD screen. The digital odometer indicates just over 39k miles from new.
From the factory, the 3.2-liter M112 V6 is rated at 221 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed 722.6 automatic transmission. Service records from new accompany the vehicle. Services in preparation for the sale include an oil service, coolant flush, and a new fuel filter.
The Carfax report, while noting a TMU entry, was a reported clerical error made by the DMV. The title is clean and clear while the Carfax shows no accidents or damage and lists history in New York, Indiana, and now Wisconsin with linear mileage updates since new. This W210 currently shows just over 39k miles and is offered by the selling dealer with records since new, original window sticker, jack, tool kit, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean Wisconsin title.
This is by far the prettiest W210 E320 we’ve ever seen and comes with the added benefit of super low miles, no rust, and in stellar original condition. Designo Mocha paint flushes to root beer in direct sunlight and looks like Obsidian Black in the shade. The color is so magnificent to see in-person and this example even came checked with a monochrome option, so all of the bronze-chrome around the glass is painted – pre-merger AMG style. Moving into the interior you get all of the super rare options not found on 99.9% of W210s. Perforated heated and ventilated seats with multi-contour functions are so rare. Paired with the COMAND and of course the light brown leather/elm wood makes this to die for. Just make sure to protect those designo floor mats as they are unobtainable, especially in this condition. We’re downright obsessed with this one and any enthusiast should have this car on their radar.

wow! that paint looks amazing! and that interior color makes this a rare bird indeed! absolutely loved my e320, and someone will love this one as well (maybe me!). my only issue was traction in wet weather which is why i started buying 4matics.
