This 2005 Mercedes-Benz C55 AMG was sold new by Brumos Motor Cars in Jacksonville, Florida where it remained with its original owner for fifteen years before moving to North Carolina. Now showing just 77k miles from new, this C55 is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) over Ash Leather (848) and is powered by a 5.4-liter AMG-tuned M113 V8 paired with a five-speed AMG SpeedShift automatic transmission. Features include heated AMG sport seats, a power tilt/slide glass sunroof, dual-zone climate control, auto-dimming mirrors and a Harman Kardon Logic7 surround sound system. Recent service includes an oil change, coolant flush, transmission service, new rear main seal, valve cover gaskets, accessory pulleys, spark plugs, a brake fluid flush and new brake pads and rotors. This C55 is now being offered for sale by the selling dealer out of Peabody, Massachusetts with the original window sticker, original manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax and a clean North Carolina title.
The exterior is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) and features AMG sculpted front and rear bumpers, side skirts and chromed quad exhaust tips. Exterior features include fog lamps, a power operated tilt/slide glass sunroof and blue-tinted heat insulating glass. A scratch on the rear bumper is documented in the photo gallery while the seller notes that no rust is present on the exterior of the vehicle.
Factory staggered 18” AMG Dual Spoke alloy wheels wear Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires measuring 225/40 front and 245/35 rear and show 2016 date codes. The wheels are in good condition with no curb rash or discoloration visible. New brake pads and rotors were recently installed along with a brake fluid flush.
The AMG sport seats are trimmed in Ash Leather (848) with Gray Alcantara accents on the upper seat backs. Both front seats are heated and power adjustable with three-position memory. AMG-specific aluminum trim is found on the center console, dashboard and door panels. Interior amenities include a Harman Kardon Logic7 surround sound system, auto-dimming mirrors, a power tilt/telescope steering wheel, cruise control, dual-zone climate control and an integrated garage door opener. The rear seats fold flat for through-loading and the seller notes that headliner in the rear is beginning to sag.
The leather-wrapped AMG sport steering wheel fronts a 200-mph speedometer and 7k-rpm tachometer with a configurable digital display mounted in the center. The digital odometer reads 77,035 miles, 1,100 of which were added by the selling dealer. Mounted behind the steering wheel are shift buttons which control the AMG SpeedShift function for the transmission.
This W203 AMG is powered by a 5.4-liter AMG-tuned M113 V8 which is factory rated at 362 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed AMG SpeedShift automatic transmission. Recent service includes an oil change, coolant flush, transmission service, new rear main seal, valve cover gaskets, accessory pulleys, spark plugs, a brake fluid flush and brake job. Parts receipts provided by the selling dealer are included below. Photos of the underbody are viewable in the gallery.
This C55 shows just three owners from new, linear mileage updates, regular dealer service histroy and no accidents or other damage reports on the included Carfax report. This AMG sedan is now offered with the original window sticker, original sales documentation, manufacturer’s literature, spare tire and a clean North Carolina title.
An interior/exterior walkaround with startup footage is viewable below.
Pairing a small and nimble chassis with a large naturally aspirated V8 has always been the bread and butter of AMG and this C55 is no exception. Added for just two production years of the face-lift W203, this C55 is one of just 1,299 made for model year 2005. Paired with the 722.6, this package provides the high-horsepower AMG experience while maintaining a reputation for reliability. Finished in a classic color combination, this example is very clean and was owned and well taken care of for 15 years by the original owner. This car will make for the perfect addition to any enthusiast’s garage given its rarity, usability and reliability.

Hello all and welcome to another one of my auctions! This is an extremely rare and clean car. I bought this as a keeper initially but something else has popped up that I am interested in. This car is absolutely immaculate and is 100% stock and completely untouched from any aftermarket non-sense. The pictures speak for themselves but the car has absolutely zero rust and has been a Florida car its whole life. Car has all new pads & rotors both front and rear, new accessory pulleys, all fluids flushed, and a new rear main seal all done with MB OEM parts. Car is extremely tight, drives amazing. This is a true gem, bid with confidence - any questions feel free to drop a comment or use the " contact seller button". Thanks, Mike
