This 2010 Mercedes-Benz R350 4MATIC was delivered new by Mercedes-Benz of West Chester in Pennsylvania and shows registration history in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. Finished in Black (040) over Beige MB-Tex (144), power is provided by a 3.5-liter M272 V6 paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel drive. Factory equipment includes the AMG Styling Package, 19” AMG wheels, a panoramic power sunroof, heated front seats, COMAND infotainment, dual-screen rear entertainment, a rearview camera, power-folding mirrors, self-leveling rear air suspension, and third-row seating. The odometer currently shows 123,789 miles. Notable listed services include replacement of the water pump and transmission in 2023, along with a new battery and brake fluid service in December 2025. This R350 is now offered by the selling dealer with a spare wheel, a Carfax report, and a clean Massachusetts title.
The body is finished in Black (040) and features the factory AMG Styling Package with sculpted bumper covers and side skirts. Additional exterior equipment includes chrome trim, a panoramic sliding glass sunroof, factory-tinted rear glass, power-folding mirrors, and a power liftgate. The paint presents well for the age and mileage with no major exterior damage noted. Scattered rock chips and minor scratches are visible on the front and rear bumpers consistent with use.
Factory 19” AMG spoke wheels are mounted with 255/50 tires at all four corners. The front tires are Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Run Flats with 2024 and 2022 date codes, while the rear Dunlop Grandtrek Touring A/S tires show 2018 date codes with age-related cracking. The wheels exhibit curb rash and scuffing, with the rear pair showing more pronounced wear. Factory equipment includes self-leveling rear air suspension along with four-piston front and two-piston rear brake calipers. The Carfax records show brake fluid services in 2016 and 2025, with additional brake inspections noted in 2018. A four-wheel alignment was also performed in 2018.
The cabin features three rows of seating upholstered in Beige MB-Tex (144), complemented by Burled Walnut trim across the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include heated and power-adjustable front seats, driver memory settings, automatic climate control, COMAND infotainment with a DVD changer, dual-screen rear entertainment, a 115-volt outlet, and a rearview camera. The upholstery presents well overall, with wear visible on the outer lower bolster of the driver’s seat. Additional imperfections include cracking in portions of the center-console wood trim, peeling finish around several climate-control vents, missing vent adjustment tabs, and some discoloration on the passenger and rear seatbelts.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts dual binnacles containing a 160-mph speedometer and 7k-rpm tachometer, along with an analog clock and fuel gauge. A central multifunction display provides mileage and additional vehicle information screens, with controls located on the steering wheel. The digital odometer currently indicates 123,789 miles.
Power is provided by a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter M272 V6 rated at 268 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque from factory. Power is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel drive. Carfax records show the water pump and gasket were replaced at 119,373 miles in March 2023, followed by replacement of the transmission at 122,871 miles in June 2023. Earlier service in 2018 included replacement of the drive belt, tensioner, and pulley, as well as a four-wheel alignment and steering angle sensor replacement. A new battery and brake fluid service followed in December 2025. The engine bay presents cleanly, and no major rust is noted on the underside or suspension components.
The Carfax report shows 19 service history records and registration history in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Massachusetts. An accident was reported in August 2010 with no additional information noted. The Carfax also notes a mileage inconsistency stemming from a December 2025 entry of 115,123 miles after a previously recorded 122,871 miles in 2023. The vehicle was subsequently reported at 123,762 miles in March 2026 and is believed to be a clerical error.

Few Mercedes models are quite as difficult to categorize as the R-Class, and that has become a large part of its charm. Part luxury wagon, part people mover, and part SUV, the W251 was Mercedes-Benz’s attempt to create something genuinely different rather than simply follow an existing formula. The result was polarizing when new, but time has been kind to these oddball “Grand Sport Tourers.” More importantly, the unusual shape serves a real purpose: three rows of seating, generous passenger space, 4MATIC all-wheel drive, and the R-Class’ famously comfortable ride make it an excellent long-distance family cruiser. Add in the panoramic roof, heated front seats, COMAND, and uncommon factory dual-screen rear entertainment system, and it is easy to imagine this R350 settling into a road trip with six passengers and luggage far more naturally than its unconventional styling might suggest. The AMG Styling Package and matching 19” AMG wheels also give this example some welcome aggression and help sharpen the appearance of the long body. At nearly 124k miles, it presents well for its age and benefits from notable prior service including replacement of the water pump and transmission. For buyers who appreciate the stranger corners of Mercedes-Benz history, this Black-over-Beige R350 combines genuine luxury, road-trip practicality, and unmistakable character in a package that remains refreshingly unlike anything else in the lineup.
