@willbatista Those of us bidding would like to think we can steal ;)
An auction for an older and with many more miles and NOT this much documented maintenance is going on the other site where you bring a trailer. That one is at 17K and one day to go. I'm betting that this one should bring a higher number given the state of the car, lower miles, newer year, etc. I'm looking for a W221 to take my ma' to church on Sunday mornings, but don't want the Turbo.

It’s the final countdown! I’m happy to answer any last-minute questions you may have.
@willbatista – to be candid, ongoing maintenance on these cars is NOT for the faint of heart. The service history from the previous owner and I, who collectively accumulated the bulk of the miles on this car, will give you some idea.
The maintenance of the twin turbos concerns me. Can someone please describe what that maintenance entails and approx costs
@mdslater - nope! That’s the storage cubby where, if equipped, the rear fridge would reside. No pass-through to the trunk. @supplyguy - knew you’d find this! Thanks for the kind words.
Is that a ski pass-through that I spy?
I know the car and the seller well, and highly recommend both. The car is a dream. Like riding in a bank vault on a bullet train.
This will be a lot of car for the money. I have a friend who owns a 2003 V12, 2008 V12, 2009 V12 and a 2004 S55 and these are the nicest cars to ride and drive. Highly recommend! BIGGEST BANG FOR THE BUCK. Good luck!
I quoted the definition found on the internet. I was not making a statement on value but encourage you to bid on the vehicle and not haggle on the definition. The main statement that this is not a clear or clean title stands. I am bidding on the vehicle and wish the seller the best luck in selling.
@Ilovebigtoys In NO WAY does a lien on a title indicate a different value for a car. Not here to argue and much love as a fellow enthusiast but that's just not accurate. Sorry to the seller for taking away from this awesome V12- GLWTA!
Definition on a clean title includes what R129hoarder correctly stated BUT ALSO that the car does not have a lien placed on it, and therefore has a slightly higher resale value! So my stetement previously is correct.
@Ilovebigtoys Clean in the title sense means no brands, no rebuilt status, no salvage status, etc.

The text says it has a clean title. However, it also says there is a lien on the vehicle. You cant have a clean title when there is a lien on the title.
@TheCircuitMan I had an '07 and once fell asleep in the back as my friend was cruising us out to Colorado at 130+. It was an amazing car and, to this day, still the best overall car I've ever driven, period.
Yes indeed, you read that right - the previous owner and I had a warranty! Anything that needed fixing did get fixed on my beautiful 2010 S600. Unfortunately, as I'm getting closer to purchasing a home, this part of my collection needs to find a new home. My first V12 has been an absolute joy to experience. She handled a 3,300 mile Arizona-Texas roadtrip at Christmastime with absolutely zero issues of any sort. Shoot, I even fell asleep in the backseat, massagers on in full force, with my wife cruising at 100+ mph... it's an experience without peer in the automotive world. Would be happy to FaceTime/video call for further inquiries, as well as show the car if you're local. Thanks for looking at one of my genuine dream cars... and may fortune be with you as you bid!
@lionsfan54 - thankfully, with the warranty, there was no excuse. I've always preferred owning higher-mile cars with extensively documented history over low-mile cars with minimal history; the practice has treated me well over six years of German car ownership.
oh man, this thing is the maintenance champion! kudos to the previous owner!
