This 2015 Mercedes-Benz GL63 AMG 4Matic was sold new at Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel, CA where it remained through 2020 under dealer service. The GLS remained in California through 2023 receiving regular dealer service until being registered in South Carolina. Finished in designo Diamond White Metallic (799) over Exclusive Black Leather (X11), power is provided by a hand-built AMG 5.5-liter Biturbo V8 engine paired with a seven-speed AMG SpeedShift automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels. Equipment includes heated and ventilated multicontour front seats, heated rear seats, heated and cooled cup holders, a Driver Assistance Package, LED dynamic headlamps with Adaptive Highbeam Assist, Adaptive Damping suspension, three-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, Parking Assistance package with a surround view camera, and harman / kardon surround sound. Red-painted brake calipers bite down on ventilated discs front and rear and wear black AMG lettering.
The bucket seats are trimmed in Exclusive Black Leather (X11) with black carpets and a black dinamica headliner. Optional designo Piano-Black trim accents the dash, center console, and doors. Both front seats are heated and ventilated and include multicontour with massage and adjustable lumbar support. Additional interior amenities include heated and cooled front cup holders, heated rear seats, three-zone automatic climate control, folding second row seats, an 8” COMAND display with Apple Carplay, and harman / kardon surround sound. Both second and third-row seats fold flat to provide a large loading area.
The AMG performance steering wheel is heated and frames an analog 200mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The centrally-mounted digital display can be configured to show various vehicle information including the digital odometer which currently shows just over 131k from new.
This flagship SUV is powered by a hand-built 5.5-liter Bitrubo V8 which is factory rated for 577 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through an AMG SpeedShift 7G-Tronic automatic transmission and an AMG Performance 4Matic all-wheel drive system. The Carfax report shows 67 service records, the majority of which were dealer services.

@Metsrck19 It looks underneath the rear suitcase muffler has been removed, but all emissions components are intact and present and functioning as designed. It just has a little louder sound than stock. One of my favorite full size SUVs from the AMG lineup. Car looks to be well taken care of on the exterior and well loved by a family on the interior, I do have a few questions regarding the interior. Photo #148 of the rear screen is that just dirt and picture or are the screens scratched? Post states that the car has Apple car play, was there an aftermarket module installed for this? And if so does all back up camera and surround view still function as normal? Any chance you could upload a detailed interior video with all the working functions? Also Photo #198 looks to show some welding on the exhaust. Does this car still retain all factory exhaust components? @mekantor the VMI and the Carfax show the heads have been replaced at Mercedes over the course of its life. Airmatic functions as it should, I do not see any documented replacement on the Carfax though, but as we all know it just might not have been reported to them.Is there a compression test available, or is it known if this motor had intake valve wear issues and the associated recall?
