This one-owner 2015 Mercedes-Benz S550 was sold new at Mercedes-Benz of Salisbury, Maryland in September of 2014 before undergoing a six-figure armoring and protection upgrade by the selling dealer. It is finished in Black (040) over Black/Anthracite (201) leather upholstery and shows only 3,500 miles from new. Power is provided by a twin-turbocharged 4.7-liter V8 paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Equipment includes the Premium package, Keyless-Go, Lighting package, and Driver Assistance package along with COMAND navigation, a Burmester 3D surround sound system, dynamic LED headlights, and staggered-width 20″ wheels. The body is finished in Black (040) and features chrome accents at the bumpers and side skirts. Additional equipment includes dynamic LED headlights, power-folding side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets that have been specially modified to prevent sabotage from outside threats. Despite the massive construction efforts to armor reinforce the interior cabin, the exterior paintwork is reportedly all original and is free of major flaws or imperfections.

Gloss black, staggered-width 20″ alloy wheels are wrapped in new Pirelli P-Zero tires sized 245/40 up front and 275/35 out back. All four tires show 2021 date codes. The car is equipped with an AIRMATIC semi-active air suspension, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs with cross-drilled rotors.

The cabin features climatized active multicontour front seats and heated rear seats upholstered in Black (201) leather. Burled Walnut wood trim adorns the cabin, and additional amenities include COMAND with navigation, a Burmester 3D surround sound system, ambient lighting, a surround view system, and front and rear parking sensors. The Driving Assistance Package adds Distronic Plus adaptive cruise control, active blind spot assist, and active lane keeping assist.

The heated multifunction steering wheel features shift paddles and fronts a digital instrument panel with an analog-style 160-mph speedometer and tachometer. The digital odometer indicates just over 3k miles from new.

The armoring and protection modifications are protected by a limited warranty from the armoring company/selling dealer. Details of these modifications include the following:

The twin-turbocharged 4.7-liter M278 V8 was factory rated at 449 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, which is delivered to the rear wheels via a seven-speed automatic transmission w/paddle shift. The engine bay on this vehicle features ballistic protection to the firewall and the ECU. 

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in the metro Washington DC area.
