This 2020 Mercedes-AMG A35 Hatchback was originally sold to the first owner in Ontario, Canada in March of 2020 and imported to the United States in April of 2022. The current seller acquired the car in November of 2023 and added approximately 5k miles. Currently the car shows just under 38k miles on the odometer. This A35 AMG is finished in Denim Blue Metallic (667) over a Black/Anthracite (651) Alcantara trimmed cabin. Power is provided by an AMG-tuned turbocharged 2.0L Inline 4-Cylinder linked with a seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. Notable Options include the AMG Aerodynamics Package, AMG Night Package, Heated Front Seats, Blind Spot Assist, and an AMG Steering Wheel. Additional upgrades include an AMG A45 Grille, an Eventuri Black Carbon Intake, and an Armytrix Downpipe. Services under the current owner’s care include new Continental tires, new brake pads and rotors, a 30k-mile service from the dealer, a new OEM battery, and a new O2 sensor. Front clip PPF has been added as well as a comprehensive paint correction and ceramic coating. This A35 is now offered by the current owner with just under 38k miles on the odometer, records and receipts, manufacturer’s literature, a Carfax report, current Georgia emissions, and a clean Georgia title.
The A35 is finished in Denim Blue Metallic (667) and features more aggressive ground effects from AMG in addition to the AMG Aerodynamics Package including a larger front splitter, a pair of front canards, a more prominent rear diffuser, and the raised rear wing. Notable exterior features include a Panoramic glass roof, LED headlamps, and an upgraded grille from the AMG A45. The A35 shows original 19” multi-spoke AMG wheels finished in Satin Black paint with matching center caps. Continental tires measuring 235/35 at all four corners show 2023 date codes. Braking is handled by silver-finished AMG calipers over cross-drilled rotors.
The cabin is upholstered in Black/Anthracite (651) Alcantara across the seats and steering wheel. Red deviated stitching is shown on the seat centers, armrest, and accents with Aluminum trim shown across the dashboard and door cards. Additional displays include navigation, multimedia, phone connectivity, and AMG performance readouts. The digital odometer indicates just under 38k miles.
The turbocharged 2.0L M260 inline-4 was rated from the factory at 302 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The added Armytrix downpipe and Eventuri intake reportedly add an additional 30-40 horsepower over stock and the downpipe has a built-in cat simulator compatible with the car. Services under the current owner’s care include new Continental tires, a 30k-mile service from the dealer, a new OEM battery, and a new O2 sensor.
A comprehensive exclusionary warranty is included and transferable that’s in place until 100k miles or August of 2029. The warranty is honored by both dealers and independent shops, has a 0$ deductible, and is transferable between private parties. This A35 is now offered by the current owner with just under 38k miles on the odometer, records and receipts, manufacturer’s literature, a Carfax report, current Georgia emissions, and a clean Georgia title.

We had a bidder ask if we allow a week +/- for storage after the car is paid to allow for shipping. Yes, we have three buildings with secure storage where we keep the cars and are happy to help. For those watching and waiting in the wings, we're available to answer any questions before the end of the auction. Happy bidding!

@GASMotorcars It's evident! It was good to see the car in person at the local MBCA show over the weekend. (Hopefully we get to see the 6x6 get a pro shoot and auction??) You can count on me being around this afternoon!
@VIGIL Thanks for that, we put a lot of energy into presenting and selling cars the right way. Golf R plus some, this one won't be 1 of 10 at your local cars and coffee.
Well put together auction and very thorough. The car looks like a blast to drive from the video. MB Golf R seems about right.

@ATSR Good questions. Luckily this car was up for auction two years ago and the previous owner answered too. The damage reported was just a trim piece according to the first owner. We showed the car this morning and can verify all the paints original. For the mileage, a shop reported the KM number as mileage rather than miles so it tripped an inconsistency. Mileage and paint are original ;)
Seller, can you provide any more information regarding the accident and the mileage inconsistency reported in the Carfax? Thanks

@MBFahrer You're right, it's far better looking! Also an incredible driver. @MBmaniac We had MBM upload a couple photos of a brochure for the warranty. It's through a company called Integrity (US-based and very approachable). Our local MB dealers in Atlanta happily work with them and of the dozens we sell every year for MB's, we haven't had a complaint. To reiterate that warranty is good through August of '29 or 100k miles and mirrors factory coverage EXCEPT aftermarket parts are covered by the warranty. Roadside, rental, and other conveniences are included. Thanks!
@GASMotorcars thank you for taking the time to reply. It definitely is not the car for me. Zero chance of getting this past emissions and registering it where I live in Colorado. It's a shame that mercedes did not sell there here. They're so much better looking than the gla/cla that we got. Much more fun and a better alternative to a GTi/golf t. Good luck with the sale and to the next owner!

@GASmotorcars Can you share who the warranty is written by? I'd like to ask my dealer if they'll work with them.

@MBFahrer Many of the items you list aren't mandatory. While a short answer is "this probably isn't the car for you" that wouldn't be very productive for anyone. While we got the A35 sedan in the U.S., we didn't get the hatch, much of the car is already in compliance. Sometimes it's a cluster change or decal and cluster reprogram. We've ensured it's here and titled legally (which it was prior to purchasing), we've ensured it passes Georgia emissions, and we've ensured the car has a thoughtful warranty since Canadian warranties do get voided when exported. Thanks for appreciating the car but a couple of these have been imported the states now (We know of two for certain) and the process isn't difficult for them.
No info on what was done to federalize this vehicle? You can't just "import" something like this and expect to register and drive it. That's not how it works in the US unless you have a sloppy DMV. What was changed in the emissions system? Bumper beams, door bars, installed? Front and rear lighting changed to US spec? I don't see any reflectors. There are so many red flags with this car. IIRR, this car has been floating around for quite some time now. Very cool, too risky though.

We're die-hard advocates for hot hatches, especially one that we never got in the United States. This A35 AMG razes the stoic Teutonic facade the Mercedes-Benz brand stands for and replaces it for, dare we say, fun?! The cars of the silver star are not necessarily fun to drive. As a purveyor of the brand, Mercedes-Benz excites us on an intellectual level. It’s the engineering and solidity and durability and build quality that is the stimulating factor. We turn to Miata or Porsche or GTI or early M cars for fun. The A35 is a Golf R from Stuttgart. AMG is a moniker you associate with blunt weaponry. Cars built to hammer out miles in comfort but walk on a Corvette if needed. Find yourself on a mountain road and the A35 is a poison dart blowgun in the hands of an aboriginal hunter. The torque vectoring out of the front differential is amazing. Feel you’re coming in a little hot? Add more power and just steer. You’ll feel the car pulling you towards the apex. It truly is idiot proof. It’s delicate and precise. Fingertip driving results in rapid pace. There’s a lot of S-Class trickledown tech and touches inside the cabin. The rear seats fold down for IKEA runs. The cabin is quiet and refined at highway speeds. It’s sensible when not wringing its neck. As a hot hatch should do. This is the most un-Mercedes Mercedes we've driven in the best way possible. The A35 AMG is MB letting its hair down and weaponizing its youthful side. Please enjoy the gallery and the video we put together cataloging this A35 in detail. We're going to miss this car dearly and are excited to chat to the new owner!
OK guys! now this is one BARN BURNER. totally cool. Need I say anything else. @GASMotorcars
