This double-sided Mercedes-Benz Service sign features a metal frame with removable side mounting brackets on one side. The sign illuminates both the front and back with a power chord stemming from the lower corner. The seller states they acquired the sign from a large car collector and had it imported from Europe. Although true age is unkown, it is believed to be from a previous decade with the classic laurel wreath logo. The sign measures 40" tall, 32" wide, and 6" deep. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees, and the seller is willing to accommodate shipping needs by packaging in a wooden crate or pickup in person. This Mercedes-Benz Service sign is now offered by the seller in Sarasota, Florida.
The sign measures 40” x 32” x 6" and features the original Mercedes-Benz laurel wreath logo from 1926. This was the first Diamler Mercedes star signifying the merger between Carl Benz and Gottlieb Diamler. The laurel wreath and Mercedes-Benz text are black and white with a matching star in the center backed by a red background. The lower portion of the sign designates "Mercedes-Benz Service."
The surrounding frame is made from metal and features removable side brackets for easy mounting. The sign is mirrored on both sides and also illuminates with a power chord stemming from the lower corner. Detailed photos of the sign are provided in the gallery below.
