This authentic Mercedes-Benz illuminated sign originated from the 2018 Toronto International Auto Show as a promotional piece. The sign measures 32.25” in length x 19” in height x 2.5” in thickness. Features include the illuminated Mercedes-Benz AMG Affalterbach logo raised above the surface of the sign, LED illumination enclosed by a metal housing, 110-volt power supply, and pre-drilled mounting holes on the backside for wall mount. Promotional markings are present on the sign indicating the original use-case.
The seller has tested all lighting and photos are shown with all bulbs in working order. Dealerships and other partners are instructed to destroy any genuine signage that is removed from their buildings, displays, or show booths so a sign like this isn’t common. Original dealer and promotional signage has become highly collectible amongst enthusiasts today. When signage is replaced with updated versions by Mercedes-Benz, the dealers are instructed to have the removed signs destroyed. Some pieces such as this illuminated Mercedes-Benz/AMG logo sign have managed to escape such a wasted and premature fate. Most of these we see are dealer-destined so when we see one nof these low-profile units, it's rather rare. This one was used for the International Car Show, meaning it had to be relatively light, easy to pack, and take up as little room as possible. The LEDs make for a very clean look and will make an impressive display in any garage, showroom, or man cave.

Love that it says Mercedes-Benz on the back too.AMG updated their symbols and font's around 2009 and this doesn't match any of it. This must be a one off. Very rare indeed!
