@DenisKolman78I don't know exactly but I assume no more than 1.000 eur
@DenisKolman78 As long as needed, we have room. We can assist with shipping!
if anybody needs something else from me, let me know. This is a very special (and rare) piece of Mercedes-Benz history. The Manual gearbox really brings the W124 alive! All maintenance is done, so its ready to be enjoyed once again.
@Abelsure? I have this: https://www.wcshipping.com/blog/classic-car-imports-exempt-from-duty-and-tariff
@quantumorbit funny you mention the radio. I took these pictures about a month ago and in the meantime I sourced a (refurbished) Becker Grand Prix 2000 to finish of the car? There are several maintenance records with the car. However I can assure you we checked this car top to bottom and did all the work it needed. Just got a new fuel pressure regulator (bosch F 026 T03 007) When we purchased the car, we noticed the infamous headgasket leak. We took the head off, had it rebuilt and did some other things we saw in there (chain guides, thermostat, distributor cap, ..) for some reason that invoice did not show up in the gallery. In total we invested over 7.500 EUR in this car to get it in tip top shape again. I'll go out tomorrow and take some pictures of the underside - which looks as good as the rest of the car.
@ferrari1971 Correct. If I'm correct I think on classic cars it's 2,5% import duties
just checked: shipping to LA is 3350 USD Ocean Freight shipping to Miamia is 2750 USD Ocean Freight We can drop it off for free at the port.
@ferrari1971 @Spottedcow I import a lot of cars from the US, so I'm very familiar with the procedure. I've shipped a couple of Land Rover Defenders during covid to the US as well. I used West Coast Shipping most of the time, but I've worked with Schumacher Cargo as well in the past. I'll ask for a quote, and happy to work with any shipping company/customer to help transport of this amazing car!
