Grimace bid $14,000

@StarkermannThats not very "enthusiastic" from someone who claims to be a "classic mercedes enthusiast". Haha. There are a lot of MBs that I don't particularly love - personally - but your wholesale dismissal of an exceedingly rare, limited edition, high performance "super sedan" of the 90s seems misplaced. The interior is definitely bold and not particularly timeless, but its also fun, flashy and emblematic of the excesses of the era. Part of the fun of these "era-correct" examples is the wild options/choices that were available at that time....just like some of the weird paint colors on 1970s MBs. Some might call them "hideous", in retrospect, but others are able appreciate them for what they are and, more importantly, when they came from....enthusiastically. Very nice presentation by the seller. Good luck with the auction.
