Are the heating and A/C working properly?
Hi! Where is the car located, please?
Hi Ozman, thanks for your question. I never asked Pierre to asess the heating fan issue because, especially living in FL, it was never an issue to me. Furthermore I understand that the fan is not terribly effective anyways. My concern was always of course the A/C which has a separate fan.
I look for ethanol-free gasoline
Hi! I am the owner and seller of the car. The team at the MB Market did a great job helping describe the car. With the addition of the photos I think having highlighted all of the good and great, and the few weaknesses of the car. However, I welcome your questions and will be happy to respond to the best of my ability. If needed I can also ask the help of my friend Pierre Hedary, top expert on these vehicles and who knows my car better than me, having serviced it for several years. Thanks for your interest!
Congratulations to the winner! Thank you and thanks to all the bidders and all of you who submitted your comments!
@Gas007Thanks for your question. I do not know why it was repainted before my ownership, but the car does not have signs of any prior accidents. As to the quality of the paint job, I am not expert but would say that it is not bad, though it accumulated a fair amount or swirl marks that a good detailer should be able to address. The main issues are shown in the photos to the best of my ability. This was my daily driver (as well as the prior owner’s) so I did not pay so much attention to cosmetics but rather focused on its mechanical condition, as documented.
@nvanmali95I took a picture of the trunk lid (#107) but not further inside. Will try to take one and share. I can tell you though that there is no rust neither in the ceiling nor the walls or bottom of the trunk. Only rust is exterior left side as pictured. Will add more photos of the trunk
@pilotbrother2003Good eye! It is a slice of the blade’s rubber that got loose. I removed it already. Both headlights blades are working
@nvanmali95sure! Videos will be posted soon.
@KevinbriemIndeed! He is great and a living encyclopedia about classic Mercedes and their mechanics
@KevinbriemCorrect! As you know leaks are common in those engines. Pierre Hedary work on it. Thanks!
Hi! I am the seller and will be happy to answer any questions. Thank you!
Thanks to everyone who placed a bid or sent a comment and in particular to the lucky buyer who came to look at the car in person! Congrats to TheMBMarket too for the great plaform and excellent attention!
Congrats @ehabviper!
Reserve is being lifted! Good luck and bid with confidence!
@ehabviperHi! Sure, it is possible to see it tomorrow. I think there is an option where you can address me as seller privately (some other person did that ) and I can respond with my address. Otherwise I can ask MBMarket as I am sure there must be a way. Happy to provide my email or phone here, but also want to make sure I do not break any rule.
@Mountainrd27Sure! The light was the coolant reserve tank level warning which is extremely sensitive. As soon as the level drops just a bit in the tank it would lit, and of course it starts when you accelerate/de accelerate . I therefore try to keep it up to the max (safe) level all the time, what I forgot to check lately. Thank you for the questions!
Hi Everyone! I appreciate your interest. I will be hapy to answer any question and provide photos of any area you may be interested on. As requested, I will take a video of a drive
@Mountainrd27 I will definitely add a video of a drive. You are right. The exhaust may have been getting a bit noiser.
