What a great car... I have one with 130,000 miles and it is great looking, fuel efficient and durable... GLWA... I might put mine out there following results. Would like a wagon of similar vintage :)

I had a '07 E Diesel..would this have had the similar Balance Shaft issue? I drove to about 200,000 miles with no problems... maybe this is a Gas Engine issue? Can someone clarify? And estimated cost to resolve? Does it lead to Engine failure if not resolved? Thx for solid input.
