@Reinier_w maybe @thembmarket would like to comment on this, but if not, here is my view. The auction house has all the personal information on me as the seller. In addition, the winner would, of course, get all personal information from me, including personal ID and photos of the cars title in my name, and other info as requested(as photo of chassis VIN etc). All before the payment is made.
@Reinier_w Thank you. The car is located in a remote storage facility for the time being, and I can't get a photo of that until earliest next week. But I can guarrantee and assure you that it is there, complete and correct, I have checked it myself in right front wheel well. I looked throught my photos, but unfortunately I don't have it documented in any of them.
@scollection, thank you for asking, and sorry for the late reply. That's a good question really. I have no documentation on what was modified by AMG. The only thing we can be sure of, based on the AMG VIN badge, the "ZB6 500GE (AMG)" option code and the "AMG Japan" sticker on the left rear of the vehicle, that it was in some way through the AMG system at that time. One of the things I think AMG probably modified, was replacing all the burred walnut trim(original option code V56) with chestnut burl wood. I have never seen another W463 with this type of chestnut trim before, and it has all the bespoke wood trim pieces for the 500GE, that you don't find in an ordinary W463. But again this is not documented so it's really just speculation.
I have also taken photos of all documentation that comes with the vehicle, it will be uploaded by MB Market shortly.
Hi there, I am the owner and seller of this 500GE, I have owned and cared for this G-wagon since 2020. I just wanted to say that I am here to answer any questions you might have. As stated in the listing, the car is located close to the main port of Norway, with shipping available to any port worldwide. There are also import/export specialists handling freight and documentation, I personally have great experience with local specialists https://www.motorships.no/en/ , I suggest you contact them for a price estimate if needed. Typically shipping prices are around this: Germany ~400€ Netherlands ~700€ US East coast ~1500$ US West coast~2000$. I would be happy to assist in completing the shipping process to any buyer. EU: Regarding taxes, since this vehicle is more than 30 years old it will not require any import custom toll fees other than VAT, and VAT is also reduced for most European countries, only small VAT percentage of 5-9% (depending on country) for 30 year old vehicles. USA: Since the car is older than 25 years, federalization is not required, and the import process should be very easy and straight forward. I wish all of you good luck and happy bidding. BR Pal
