@ILLANOIZRookie level question.
@blakleyleonard"I encourage seeing the car in person as it does not disappoint in any way." I saw it in person and was completely disappointed. It's being passed off as an AMG when it's not.
I've encountered this car at Cars and Coffee in So. Cal. I have several real AMG so naturally my Son and I bee-lined to this car. We asked the driver (owner?) to tell us about it. He turned red and said "it's an AMG homage" and walked away. We parked our legit AMG car with the "REAL AMG" license plate frame next to it and we never saw the driver again. This car is not legit.
"NO FAKES"
32K LOL
@wrenchinggood question. Experience has me confident enough to stay away from this one. Good luck to all. -I'm out.
@RufYellowBirdwoo-boy! Where to start with this one? This might be a good place for you to start: https://twitter.com/DougDeMuro/status/1545007821116293120 I can't help you beyond that. Not explaining reality to strangers on the Internet. Good luck to you! All the best.
@ariotofmyownglad you've had good luck with your SIX wagons (wow!). I've had one and it cost me significantly to fix. Great point on camshaft position sensors. A search on your username -it looks like you're a dealer (?) Thanks all. @Seller any ideas on if this would pass a smog/emissions test with current exhaust set up? more homework on this one here: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2007-mercedes-benz-e63-amg-48/
@RufYellowBirdThank you for the reply. -Interesting. I'm in So Cal - very familiar with the weather and the impact on M156 engine. Unknown Headbolt status should be a concern to any potential buyer. Again, I'm further down the path with this set up and years of ownership behind me. A lot of money spent and lessons learned so HMU with any specific questions. Happy to help and best of luck to all! (I've got almost the exact same setup all the way down to the V1 installed and the interior lighting!)
Cool car. I like the customizations. I have an 08 W211 E63 in my current AMG lineup. I fix one thing on the E63/M157, -something else breaks. Buyer beware. It's a non-stop battle to maintain this car properly. HMU if you want more specifics. Make sure you are crystal clear and know what you're getting into with one of these. (Hoovie gave up on his, if I'm not mistaken) Seller - May we please have the status of the headbolts? Good luck with the sale!
