Is there anything more indicative of W124 build quality than a diesel E-Class? The W124 is one of our favorite Mercedes-Benz models and, as these classic diesels have already proven, this one has many miles ahead in its future.

Hi all As we get close to the end of this auction I just wanted to thank everyone for their participation Good luck and happy bidding Concerning the tachometer, last we checked it was working fine..,
@irastock, the wiring harness issues only affected gasoline engines with HFM or LH-SFI fuel injection. This OM602 diesel has mechanical injection. The tach could either be the gauge itself, or possibly the speed sensor at the flywheel, assuming all wires are connected on the back of the cluster.
Good afternoon. Nice car! Do you know if this year/model had the biodegradable wiring harness? It appears the tachometer is not working. Has any work been done on that. Any leaks of any sort? Any rust issues that you see or know of?

Just wanted to reiterate that this E-Class runs and drives great! Everything has been sorted and is ready for years of enjoyment by the next owner
Hi All And welcome to our 300D auction We love these E-class cars and they are super reliable. The diesel is probably the best engine we’ve experienced in the e-class due to the tremendous torque. This car received some cosmetic work including new headlights, covers and a full paint correction. We also recharged the AC and are proud to report that it can easily keep up with the hot Florida sun. Good luck bidding and be sure to setup a viewing of this car, you won’t be disappointed!
