HI, If your sale doesnt go through give me a shout. Not far away from you. Thanks, Chris
@Danijelbre: Your car should have a compliance sticker for the US EPA in the engine compartment. I think it also has a DOT compliance sticker somewhere. If not, you will need the letter from MBZ, which shouldn't be a problem at all since you are the owner. But......you will have to drive the car back to Canada and then officially import it into the USA. That's neither complicated or a nightmare. I've brought in cars from Canada, Europe and Japan. BTW, form 7501 doesn't need to be stamped anymore. I titled several JDM cars at the DMV in Harrisburg without any custom stamps. It will be much easier to sell your car with a US title.
With US title I guess this auction would have gone different. But the uncertainty to get the car legal here in the US stopped at least me to participate in bidding. Can’t be a deal if you don’t know if or when you can drive it.
@Hansjorg are you sure about that? If that's the case i will easily pay tax and import the car and relist with NC title
AFAIK, all MBZs sold in North America have a conformity sticker for Canada and the USA. In that case, no letter from the manufacturer needed.
Thank you all, just a FYI someone i know imported a car from Canada to USA they said all they needed was a letter from manufacturer and safety here. Paid tax and title in hand.

Good Luck to the buyer, what a steal!! The paperwork dilemma to get it titled in USA will be a nightmare but it’s going at about $7-8k discount.
Hello, no I did not do any of the following documents when I crossed. I am not an expert on the import procedure. The buyer will be responsible for the import if they wish to keep it in the USA. If you can handle that, the price of this E350 Wagon is a steal of a deal! Good luck
Good luck getting this titled in the USA without all the proper import/border paperwork. You need to present all of these documents, stamped, in order to title in the USA at your state's revenue or DOT office. They have to be stamped at the border when you bring the car in, after paying the applicable duties to get the car out of the country. These are not documents you can fill out locally, it has to be done at the border. HS-7 Form EPA Form 3520-1 CBP Form 7501 Not just one or the other of these forms, but ALL of them.
When you brought it from Canada to Raleigh did you fill out a CBP Form HS 7 or CBP Form 7501?
Additional underside photos have been added to the gallery.

Can you please post some pictures of the underside? Being a Canadian car, I would like to see that there isn't any rust or serious corrosion from salt. Please add some pictures of the front and rear suspension, control arms, etc. Thank you.
@kfine yes, the car has the EPA sticker under the hood. The buyer is responsible for the import of the car into USA. I moved to Raleigh with my family for work and my work supplies me with a vehicle that is the reason for sale. I imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to import the car as USA sold the same 2013 E350 wagon as Canada did.
Located in Raleigh with Canadian title. Does this mean buyer is responsible for importation, customs fees and provincial sales tax? Is it even possible to import a vehicle into the US that is 10 years old? Are there US EPA stickers under the hood?

@mr_frank Hello, the engine was 60-70c not a cold start but also not warmed up yet.
Thanks for the video. Question, was that a cold start on the engine?
