The R107 is an icon of the 80’s and one of the most recognizable classic cars from Mercedes-Benz. Being produced for 17 years, the V8 version of the R107 in the US started out with a 4.5-liter V8 and eventually graduated to the larger 5.5-liter version starting in 1986. While the R107 continues to solidify its legendary status among a lineage of SL's, R107's in above average mechanical condition are becoming tougher to find than ever with the M117-powered 560SL's leading the way from a collectibility and value standpoint. This example presents exceptionally well showing just 68k original miles and dozens of service documents dating between 2012 and 2020. With a clean exterior finished in a desirable Signal Red paint, this 560SL is sure to bring plenty of attention from dedicated enthusiasts and is certain to provide many years of Mercedes excellence for its lucky new owner.

Where is car located.
@Horsepwr4me - one of our shop guys checked it out this weekend - he was unable to test the heat/ac operation as the blower motor doesn't work currently. We can look into getting that addressed but we need to clear it with the consignor. It is still R12/has not been converted to R134. The lower oil pan seeps slightly, the drivetrain is dry otherwise.

@Horsepwr4me Thanks for the question! We are confident that they work but we'll double check those items on Tuesday (we're off for the holiday weekend). The current owner (the car is on consignment) is pretty sure that it was converted to r134, but we will check the fittings on Tuesday and verify that as well. The car overall is incredibly clean - I've seen a number of these in all manner of condition, and this one stands out from the rest. The owners took very, very good care of this one.
Does the air conditioning system work both hot air and cold air, has the system been converted to R134 refrigeration I couldn’t find in the work invoices that the engine rear seal and pan seals were ever replaced. Are there still oil leaks?
