This Mercedes-Benz glass panoramic removable hardtop is finished in Pearl Blue (348) and was built for use on 1990-2002 R129 series cars of the era. The top was originally red and was refinished by the seller in Pearl Blue to match their R129. The top features a steel frame, a glass panoramic roof with a retractable sunshade, glass windows, and Beige vinyl trim. This R129 SL hardtop is now offered by the seller in Vera, Spain. The seller has a wooden crate for the top to assist with international shipping needs.
The top was originally finished in red and was professionally repainted in Pearl Blue (348). The top features a panoramic glass roof and glass windows with painted steel bodywork along the frame. The original Siglia glass markings from the factory are present on the windows and visible in the gallery below.
The interior of the top features a retractable sunshade and grab handles on both the driver and passenger sides. The sunshade operates smoothly and extends/retracts as designed without issue. Photos of the sunshade in both positions are provided in the gallery.
The non-glass interior surfaces are trimmed in Beige vinyl. The top has been tested and all latch points operate correctly when mated with an R129 chassis vehicle. Rubber and felt trim points appear in good condition with no major deterioration or obvious wear.

@zoccierampqt I provide the crate for free, I communicated the total weight of the roof including the crate (75 Kg). All the elements for a quote are there. Shipping is responsability of the buyer. Mostlikely the ones wanting it already know.
Will be helpful to know shipping cost to US, else just buy locally.
If one of you bidders is seriously interested in this panoramic roof, there is still a way to go before reserve price is reached at 1.5 hour before closing .
@babtainy I have a wooden crate for shipping available. I have no idea oof the costs, but I have good experience with DHL. The total weight with crate would be about 75 Kg. I hope that helps.

@Johan personally, I think it looks good / unique but period correct. I'd leave them. I used to not care for color matched wheels. I had a blue 911 with blue fuchs, and it seemed like too much. 20 years later, it seems cool.
@naccer Thanks for the help. The rims might be on the MB-Market soon, as I am brining the blue 500SL to it.s original condition.
@Nandito Yes it does.
@Nandito Yes it was.
@Nandito Yes it fits all r129 years. Hard to get this from Espana to Atlanta though. Love the color matched wheels on the donor car.
Do you know if this hardtop top fix is in the 1993 model?
Was it originally red sign? Was it entirely stripped?
