This 1990 Mercedes-Benz 300E-24V was originally sold as a Spanish market example where it was registered and driven until being imported to the United States in 2022. The selling dealer has added less than 150 miles since importation in 2022. Finished in Spruce Green Metallic (249) over a Beige Cloth (065) cabin, power is provided by an 24v M104 inline six paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Features include painted lower body cladding, burl wood trim, manual adjusting front seats, a complete tool kit, and an aftermarket head unit. This example is now offered in Jacksonville, Florida by the importing dealer and seller with 150k kilometers (≈93k miles) on the odometer, service records, factory literature, an original tool kit, first aid kit, one key, and a clean Florida title.
The body is finished in Spruce Green Metallic (249) with green-colored bumper covers and lower cladding. Features include factory Euro-spec lighting, fog lights, unique "24v" badging, and a power antenna. The recent Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage. Detailed pictures of each panel, window, and trim are viewable in the gallery below. The seller notes the car shows evidence of a repaint in Spain before export although in factory color, appears to be a thorough job.
Factory painted 15″ Gullideckel wheels wear Uniroyal tires measuring 195/65 all around. Braking is provided by disc brakes on all four corners.
The cabin is trimmed in Beige Cloth (065) and accented with Burl wood trim adorning the center console, dash, and doors. Factory amenities include manually-adjustable seats, dual-zone climate control, power windows, an electrically adjustable passenger side mirror, and an aftermarket head unit with Bluetooth capability.
The factory steering wheel houses a driver’s airbag and frames a 260kph speedometer, 8k rpm tachometer with an analog inset clock, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 150k kilometers or approximately 93k miles.
The 3.0-liter M104 inline-six was rated at 217 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission featuring a dogleg shift pattern.
This 300E-24v is now offered in Jacksonville, Florida by the importing dealer with importation documents, service records, factory literature, an original tool kit, first aid kit, one key, and a clean Florida title.
Videos showing a walk around, start up, and the 300E-24V on a lift have been included by the seller.

Best color on any Benz imo. Years ago I had a 500E in Spruce Green and wish I had never sold it. This one is tough to beat with the manual and the wood looks great.

The DOHC M104 absolutely sings at that 7k RPM redline. I had a 1990 300CE many years ago and still miss it. Good luck with the sale!
@UI_Classics thanks so much. I did study all the photos and they are indeed detailed. I simply am asking as I do my due diligence. Wonderful car.
@Benjamin there is no rust or bubbling in the paint. Also, please refer to the photos and videos since they are pretty detailed.
@RobPerillo LOL. I appreciate it and I don't blame you. I love what I do. The other auction was very interesting and exciting to watch, even for me.

Is there any rust or paint bubbling present?

Seller congrats on the M5 Touring result earlier Another beautiful specimen, the jealousy is real. I want your job lol
Such a great color combination on the W124. Spruce green is so good and with the manual this one is really nice!

@danvitmon it may actually pass smog but even if it does, there is more red tape in CA. Someone has told me at some point that the state requires some kind of a sticker that they will issue for your gray market car but it costs additional money. The service book has several maintenance stamps and we also have documents showing annual inspections.

Makes sense. I've registered out of state vehicles in California and it was usually as simple as passing smog/emissions and I could then get the car registered and titled. Unfortunately since the car is a Euro, it likely won't pass smog and doing a hot smog will be necessary. Hopefully the price stays within my range! Does the car have receipts or records of previous repairs?
@danvitmon thank you. So even though we have sold several cars to clients in CA, I believe the registration process of gray market cars in your state is a bit more complicated than anywhere else. Normally, FL title is good enought to register and title a car anywhere in the US without any issues, but CA has additional requirements that you propabaly want to verify with your local authorities. I know you can get it registered, but you should check what is involved. I also understand that some CA residents use out-of-state addresses to register their gray market cars.
Incredibly clean example! Since the car currently has a clean Florida title and I'm assuming Florida plates, would the car be registerable in California? I know California has smog while Florida doesn't (most of Florida?) but if the car has cats then could it pass? Otherwise a hot smog might be required?

@cascadia yes, there are actually 2 keys for the locks. No mats though.
Lots to like here. Do you have the key for the wheel locks? I'm assuming no floor mats? Didn't see any in the photos. Thanks.

@gbouton yes it does. It also has been converted to R134
Does the AC work properly?
Wow this is good! My mind tells me it's still a heavy 124 but I bet this drives like a DREAM.

Manual time machine. That interior is striking!
