This pillarless coupe also features an electric sunroof with tilt function, fog lights, chrome trim, a power antenna, body-colored mirrors, and headlight washers. Euro headlights have been installed featuring a full glass lens. All paint and glass are believed to be original with no major identifiable flaws.
Factory 15″ Gullideckel wheels have crested MB center caps and are free of any visible blemishes. The wheels are wrapped in 215/65 Bridgestone Potenza tires front and rear. Standard equipment included four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes and rear self-leveling suspension.

Amenities include heated power-adjustable front seats, dual-tone horn, automatic climate control, cruise control, a Becker Grand Prix head unit, and burl wood trim accenting the dashboard, center console, and doors.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock, and a combination gauge for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and fuel economy. The six-digit odometer shows 77k miles; approximately 500 of which were added by the seller.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. It’s been said but this is THE BEST color combo. And on a 126 coupe…too good.
Been tracking the car and reading all the comments. Paint question was posed on the 15th, but all good. Don’t mean to get people upset.
@JMetcalfe Its 30 minutes before the auction ends. I don't drive the car daily and its at my car storage. I wish you would have messaged me or asked earlier.
Gotta love when people ask for paint meter readings with less than an hour left on an auction thats been up for over a week...
Bidding just to bid.
$31,000 bid placed by @JMetcalfe
Are you suppose to guess if this is original paint? Or just roll the dice? Post the meters reading then, but this open forum and my comment is more than OK.
@JMetcalfe Actually, I was not advised to do meter readings by MB market if not I would have posted them and had photos of the readings, as I have posted the undercarriage, motor and cold start. I also didn't ask if I should since I never sell any of my cars, this is a first. Commenting just to comment and making assumptions is not OK. Thanks.
@Starkermann No meter readings, so that probably tells you everything you need to know.

@Starkermann During my ownership the vehicle has not been painted and the previous owner never mentioned anything painted on the vehicle. The paint work is excellent in my opinion and I am extremely picky with my cars so it is kept inside and this was is in a temperature controlled storage. Thanks!
Noticed that the front license frame has been painted the color of the body. This leads to ask how much repainting has the vehicle undergone? Thanks...

@HJSarafian You are correct. It has been fixed since the photo. The fastener below needed to be adjusted. Thanks!
I'm wondering if I saw this correctly... The driver side rear 1/2 window exterior chrome trim seems to be misaligned compared to the driver door.

@Starkermann Pine Green is definitely the original color - it decodes on the VIN report. See here https://www.lastvin.com/vin/JBZY8E0DkOJEX1bKm
Is Pine Green Metallic 254 the original factory color of the car? The code should be on the data plate. Could you please add a picture of the data plate to the pictures? Thanks...
@jayboundless1 I have wondered about this issue every time I look at a 560, both coupe and sedan. Thanks very much for your input. By the way, I never ride in the back seat. Ha. I bet you do not either. Funny how that works.
@floman I'm 6'3" as well and own a 1989 560SEC. Legroom is no issue at all. In fact I don't even have my seat all the way back. However, there really is no legroom in the back with our height.
This C126 is quite lovely.... a late production run towards the end of the 126 life cycle is a nice plus.
@dduanee Thank you!
@EmmaLab I wish that was my entire collection. Its several members that park their cars at the temperature controlled storage. Eitherway, happy you liked the storage video!
What a gorgeous color/color combo. I just sold my '87 420SEL and figured I was finished with W126 but boy this is sorely tempting. Nice presentation, @amge63swagon. GLWTA!
As a private collector you have quite the car collection as shown in the cold start video. Very impressive!!!

@Suncal Thank you! Its prettier in person.
Wow what a stunning color! Don't think I've seen a 560sec in this color before.

@amge63swagon. Thanks for input. Very helpful.
@floman Hi, I am 6' and when I drive the 560 I move the seat up to get a proper driving position in the car. Even with me moving the seat up I still have plenty of room under the dash area.
Gorgeous car.........I do not recall ever seeing a MB in this color. Stunning. Question. I am 6'3 and wondering if any taller drivers have ever had leg room issues with the shelf below the driver's dash? Thanks.
@ThorntonMelon Hi, no I dont have any meter readings on the paint. The only flaw has is a light 1" hairline scratch on the left passenger door. You can see it in the pictures. No other damage. Thank you
Any paint meter readings? Any known areas of previous damage/paint work?

@mbrandonmotorcar Hi, yes the Texas title is in transit under my name. The previous owner was from NY. Thank you for your interest!
A cold start video has been added to the listing as of this morning. Thank you.
@amge63swagon: I am a serious bidder but have a question. Is the NY title in your name? Just asking since you are in Texas, not a dealer, and it’s a NY title. Thanks!
