This 1992 Mercedes-Benz 300E was sold new in Miami, Florida where it was first registered in November of 1992. It’s finished in Arctic White (147) over a Beige Leather (265) interior, and power comes from a 3.0-liter M103 inline-6 paired to a four-speed automatic transmission. The selling dealer acquired the car in late 2021 and has added approximately 150 miles since acquisition. In preparation for the sale, the selling dealer has had an oil and filter change, air filter change, spark plug service, and transmission fluid flush performed. Features include a power sunroof, cruise control, automatic climate control, and power windows. This 300E currently shows 82k original miles on the odometer and is being offered by the seller with recent service records, original manufacturer’s literature, two keys, a clean Carfax report showing a damage-free history, and a clean Arizona title.
Finished in Arctic White (147) with contrasting Gray bumpers and black trim, the body shows no signs of corrosion and symetrical panel gaps all around. The seller indicates all body panels are free from paintwork. A chrome accent strip adorns the lower beltline of the car. Exterior features include glass headlamps with wipers, a painted power sunroof, and a power antenna. The car remains in original condition and unmodified. Factory VIN labels can be seen on all body panels. The seller notes the exterior mirror trim shows cracking and fading.
This 300E wears 15” Gullideckel wheels wrapped in Hankook tires measuring 195/65 with original painted center caps installed. The wheels show well with no fading and some curb rash visible on the driver’s front wheel. The seller indicates the tires were recently installed and show 2017 date codes.
The cabin is trimmed in Beige leather (265) across the seats, door cards, head rests, armrest, center console, and lower dashboard. The power telescoping steering wheel is wrapped in contrasting Black leather along with a Black upper dash and shift knob. The original Beige carpets remain with the car and can be seen in the gallery below. Zebrano wood trim accents the cabin along the center console and dashboard and cracks can be seen around the shifter and window switches. An original Becker Grand Prix head unit remains intact, however, the radio reportedly does not work but has been left by the seller to retain originality. Additional features include automatic climate control, a driver’s side front airbag, power adjustable front seats, and heated rear glass.
The black leather steering wheel frames a 160mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer featuring an analog clock, along with gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer now shows 82k miles with approximately 150 being added by the selling dealer.
The 3.0-liter M103 inline-six was factory rated at 178 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque when new. In preparation for the sale, the selling dealer has had an oil and filter change, air filter change, spark plug service, and transmission fluid flush performed. The seller also notes the air conditioning has been converted to R134.
The provided Carfax report lists no accidents or damage along with linear mileage updates since new. Now showing 82k miles, this 300E is being offered with recent service records, original manufacturer’s literature, two keys, and a clean Arizona title.
A video showing a walkaround including the cabin and engine compartment has been included by the seller.

@MercedesCosworth the car has passed California smog test and will be included in the sale of the vehicle. For California buyers the fees will be: Sales tax Registration License fees For out of state buyers there will be no additional fees.
Very attractive at this mileage, first thing I’d do is send the head unit to Becker for modernization. Such a classic look
Also, since the seller is a dealer, are there any other fees due beyond the winning bid amount?
Will the seller smog the vehicle for a California buyer?

@nrajput90 Yes, it is the original wiring harness. The m103 wasn’t affected like the 1994-95 E320 biodegradable wiring harness. We’ve replaced quite a few of those in the past. I can upload a video in the next few days on YouTube and link it here.
@PerfectAutoSales is it safe to assume then the wiring harness is original? Can you post a video of the car being driven?
@nrajput90 There are some records of the car in the service booklet that shows routine maintenance. Since we acquired this vehicle in our dealer inventory, we’ve gone through the car and performed any necessary maintenance needed as listed in the ad. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have, we will answer them to the best of our ability.

Are there any other records/evidence of major repairs or work done to the vehicle outside of the recent servicing?
