This 1993 Mercedes-Benz 300CE was sold new through Mercedes-Benz of Stevens Creek, California in July 1993. It remains in Southern California through present day and shows documented service records from previous ownership. Finished in Arctic White (147) over Beige Leather (265), the car is powered by a 3.2-liter M104 inline-six paired to a four-speed automatic transmission. Recent service includes a new battery, oil service including filter change, new spark plugs, new vacuum hoses, and a new EGR valve. Features include power front seats, power windows, automatic climate control, and a power sunroof. This C124 currently shows 215k miles on the odometer and is offered by the seller with a folder of complete maintenance records, manufacturer's literature, two original keys, the original window sticker, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
Finished in Arctic White (147) with Grey lower body cladding, this coupe shows no signs of paint or clear coat issues and reportedly shows no rust. Factory impact strips in black can be seen on the bumpers and features include a power sliding sunroof with tilt function, headlight washers with automatic wipers, and a pillarless window design.
This example wears OEM wheels from a W210 E420 measuring 16x7.5” on all four corners. The faces are finished in silver paint and the lips show a machined finish. Hankook tires are mounted showing 2020 date codes.
The cabin is trimmed in Beige Leather (265) across the seats, door cards, armrest, and dashboard. Additional leather-trimmed features include the steering wheel and shift knob. All leather surfaces are reported to be original with the exception of the recovered seats and present nicely kept with no tears or scuffs. The dashboard is free from cracks along with the door cards and rear headrests while the steering wheel shows a blemish in the leather at the top right. The center console, dash, and doors are accented with original Burl Walnut wood and show some light fading and cracking under the shifter surround. Interior features include the original Becker head unit, automatic climate control, power mirrors, and power folding rear headrests. An original set of Mercedes-Benz carpet floor mats in black are included.
The analog odometer shows 215k original miles. Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with a 6,400-rpm redline, and an analog odometer with trip function. Additional gauges include fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure along with an analog clock and digital external temperature gauge.
The 3.2-liter M104 inline-six was rated at 217 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque when new. Recent service includes a new battery, oil service including filter change, new spark plugs, new vacuum hoses, and a new EGR valve. Records are included with the car showing multiple decades of service. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 722.3 automatic four-speed transmission.
The Carfax report lists no accidents or damage and registration history exclusively in California since new. This C124 is now offered with a folder of complete maintenance records, manufacturer's literature, two original keys, the original window sticker, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
There's always been something special about pillarless coupe design and Mercedes-Benz surely does it best. This specific 300CE seems to have lived a pampered life in California with all the more opportunity for window-down drives. Thankfully the mileage is no indication of how this car's been kept or driven over the years as it appears in great shape both cosmetically and mechanically. The W210-sourced wheels are a great add-on for the coupe lines and the condition of this 300CE proves the decades of service records from previous owners has paid off. This C124 should be set to go the distance with the next owner.

@DonC - I don't have receipts of the Wiring Harness. The person I purchased the car from did the work himself with a friend of his who is an MB tech. So it was done in the last 18mos. If this is something you'd like further info on after buying car I can put you in touch with former owner or I can contact him myself for a more detailed answer.

@alfa01 - Ah yes! The clip that holds the light in place broke. The previous owner did the zip-tie. I was going to get around to it and honestly just forgot. I think the missing clip is a sub $10 part.
@nlakind Thanks for clarifying. What about cable tie over the headlight assembly and hood lock on picture 29.
@alfa01 Yes! Front seats and center console were reupholstered with OEM Mercedes leather. Have receipts as well that I didn’t include in pictures here. Will include them with receipt.
Question to the seller. Are front seat covers have new upholstery?
