This 1995 Mercedes-Benz E320 Cabriolet was sold new through Plaza Motors in St. Louis, Missouri and regularly serviced by the first owner through 2012 when it was brought to New York. The car now shows only 29,394 miles on the odometer. Finished in Cypress Green Metallic (272) over Beige Leather (265), this A124 boasts original paintwork, trim, and leather. This cabriolet is powered by a 3.2-liter M104 inline-6 paired to a four-speed automatic transmission. Features on this example include a beige power folding soft top, an original Becker head unit, power windows, cruise control, central locking, a factory wind deflector, and multi-contour seats. Most recently, this example received a complete fluid flush including oil, brake fluid, and coolant. This E320 Cabriolet is now being offered by the seller complete with manufacturer's literature, an original first aid kit, two keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New York title.
The exterior is finished in factory-original, Cypress Green Metallic (272) with matching bumpers and lower body cladding. Features include a Beige power-operated soft top, headlight wipers, power-adjustable side mirrors, and a power antenna. The soft top features an electrically-heated glass rear window while the body work is accented with original dealer-optioned chrome wheel arches.
Factory painted 15″ eight-hole alloy wheels are mounted with Continental ContiProContact tires measuring 195/65 all around. The wheels show no signs of curb rash and wear original painted center caps. The car is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes.
The seats are upholstered in Beige leather (265) with matching Beige carpets throughout. The dashboard, center console, and door panels and trimmed in Burl Wood. Additional features include heated and power-adjustable front seats with memory functions, automatic climate control, cruise control, multi-contour seats, and a factory Becker head unit. An original A124-specific wind deflector is included in the sale and shown in the gallery.
The black leather steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer featuring an analog clock, along with gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer now shows 29,394 miles. Photos in the gallery show all warning lights work as intended and the trip reset reportedly functions as well.
The 3.2-liter M104 inline-six was factory rated at 217 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque when new. Ample maintenance records will be included in the sale documenting regular oil changes and maintenance dating back to 2012. Most recently, this example received a complete fluid flush including oil, brake fluid, and coolant. Detailed photos of the underbody can be seen in the gallery below.
This E320 Cabriolet is now being offered by the seller complete with manufacturer's literature, an original first aid kit, two keys, a clean Carfax report reporting no accidents or damage along with linear mileage updates, and a clean New York title.
Green over Beige, in any shade, never fails to surprise and delight us. In this specific application, the E320 Cabriolet (A124), it’s a true pleasure to bring this car to market. At a time when the E-Class cabriolet was more expensive than almost every other Mercedes-Benz model, this was the big-time benz of the mid-90’s. Obviously by the paint, mileage, and records, this car has been loved by both previous owners and seemingly appreciated over the course of almost three decades. It’s rare to see cabriolets this nice pop up but we seem to be on a roll right now. At the end of this auction we’ll be green with envy for the new owner of this fantastic example.

@Aventura_Motors, thx for clear this. Yes i have seen those…. Thx
@MBstyle The undercarriage rust is surface, nothing on the frame or body. If you really want to go the extra mile, you could dry ice clean it underneath. While you are looking underneath, please note all of the factory quality control marks. Thank you
@Aventura_Motors, the low miles is one. The corrosion at undercarriage is another… any explain for that or do I get the pics wrong?. Thx
Good Morning. For clarity the conversation mentioned below was indeed by phone as I live in California. Without seeing the condition of the car, the seller described the condition of the wiring harness and therefore I cannot vouch for his report. Any other information the seller exchanged with me was limited and again without me making the observation in person. Donkster

Lovely car. I agree about the wheel arch trims, but fortunately from what the seller says, they come off without trauma. I have a similar car, but for a modern Becker radio which was a very nice addition indeed. A great car for tours and vacation trips.
Hello everyone, I am pleased to inform that we had our master technician on the phone with @donkster while under the hood and we can see that the wiring harness is not brittle and show NO signs of biodegradation. Alluding to great original condition or most likely, Prior replacement. I am available for any last minute questions, photos and videos. If you would like to call or facetime and discuss the vehicle, please reach out directly to 6319023496. @MBstyle The clips are clipped inside the fender wall and the chrome additions are placed on a rubber gasket that touches the paint. This should close any question of fender damage/paint issue. The current owner has requested we leave them on due to his personal liking and chance of non-sale he would like to take the car back immediately, the way he prefers. The center console has what appears to be medical tape to keep the leather from peeling up. The center console is fixed firmly in place. Thank you all and happy bidding

The 124 has a history of a few ver well known mechanical issues and I haven’t seen, perhaps my oversight, those issues have been addressed. Those problems include deterioration of both upper and lower wire harnesses, head gasket, A/C evaporators and dash vent distribution actuators as well as seat belt extenders. Can the seller please let me know the status of these please. Thank you. Donkster
@Aventura_Motors Would you be able to take some pictures of the steering wheel and overall dash? Thanks!

@Harrdware Yes, the instrument cluster on this is an incredible example of original finish. The way it should be, cheeto dust orange!
Hello everyone, Thank you for your interest in the car. @Harrdware The soft top fabric was replaced at one point in a color matched Beige. It has the factory Mercedes glass rear windshield. @MBstyle All four of the chrome fender arches are clipped in, closeups are being added to the gallery now.

Wonderful car. I’ve seen W111 and W113 cars with the aftermarket chrome around the wheel wells but this is the first 124. Universal trim failure around the visor attachment to the windshield/A pillar. Perfect replacements from classictrimparts.com. Easy to do and they have them for 129’s. Ive done all of my cars. Instructions in the box are the best method.

So nice to see an example with no fade on the orange needles in the instrument panel! Nice to see the supple leather seats, not dried out like most are by this time. Great to see the original labels in the engine compartment as well. Hope the aftermarket wheel arch moldings can be removed without damaging the paint. Not sure if I have ever seen a green A124 Cabriolet with a light tan cloth top. Was the top replaced at some point? All the ones I've seen, including my own, have black tops.
