This 1995 Mercedes-Benz SL320 was sold new in Rhode Island in 1995 where it’s remained registered under two owners since new. Finished in Imperial Red (582) over Palomino Leather (274), power is provided by a 3.2-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes power adjustable heated seats with memory, power adjustable mirrors, a power operated soft top with a removable paint-matched hardtop, automatic climate control, remote central locking, and a factory Becker head unit with retrofitted Bluetooth. In March of 2025 the owner had their local Mercedes-Benz dealer perform a service including front and rear brake pads and rotors, a transmission service, a brake fluid service, a coolant flush, and a new fuel filter. In addition the car received a new wiring harness. Records for this service are included in the sale. The factory 16” 8-hole alloy wheels come fitted with Starfire tires measuring 225/55 on all four corners and showing 2017 date codes. The wheels show some signs of curb rash with no corrosion or discoloration present.
The interior is upholstered in Palomino Leather (274) and features matching carpets with Burl Walnut wood trim lining the center console door panels. Both front seats are power adjustable, feature three-position memory, and two-way heating. Interior equipment includes the original Becker radio with a trunk-mounted CD changer, integrated Bluetooth, automatic climate control, cruise control and a power adjustable steering column.
The instrument cluster features a 160-mph speedometer along with a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock and gauges for fuel level, economy, coolant temperature and oil pressure. The digital odometer is mounted in the center and currently reads just over 68k miles.
This two-seat roadster is powered by a 3.2-liter M104 inline-six which is rated for 229 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. @omarshareef I was trying to figure this out too. My best guess is that something was lost in translation between 1997 and current day with Carfax's coding. (The same way a mileage discrepancy on Carfax will sometimes show as "BRANDED"). My 2-cents, this looks like a fantastic driver and the color combination is rather hard to duplicate. Lots of value if you aren't looking to flip...Hi, a few questions: 1. How is the hard top/soft top 2. Any oil leaks 2.
