As we're closing here in just a few short hours, I want to thank everyone for the interest, comments, and messages. This car checks all the boxes -- low miles, pano roof from factory, SL1 + SL2, and a unique interior. You can see just how clean it is underneath. A car cover (that likely hasn't been used), all its original books, and even the original window sticker are included in this auction. Please feel free to ask anymore questions. Will try to answer them as quickly as possible.

@nnp007 100% agree. My intention in owning this car was to find one that was as original and period correct as possible. This car has taken me to a time and place that I constantly yearn for. If it weren't for some unexpected life changes, I'd keep this one forever.
@CarObsessive Excuse my ignorance on the center tabs. In looking into this further, the center vents' tabs are in fact missing, which is how they were when I bought the car. I did find them to be pretty cheap on eBay. As for the screws, they're the 4 bottom screws (2 on each side) that are meant to be there. There are no additional screws. When putting the car on a lift, I noticed the front two tabs in the center area of the bumper cover were not lifting that bottom part up which I was able to quickly resolve. The fog light being out of place seems to be due to a loose bracket which was also resolved. This car, from my knowledge, has never been in an accident. The invoice for the 2019 damage report can be seen in the photos and confirms the front bumper / bumper cover is still the original. Previous owner mentioned it was purely cosmetic and "the size of a silver dollar." I hope this helps!
@MTW319 Thank you for requesting further clarification. For context I used to own a 2002 silver arrow R129. Objectively I would like to simply say they don’t make them like they used too. And this applies across the board. Mass Produced Technology and lcd screens have replaced hand crafted elements in these vehicles. Sadly most consumers have blindly accepted this…
@nnp007 and @CarObsessive: Great eyes on those missing tabs on the center console vents on photos 132, 134 & 135. Definitely not the same as the left vent vent tab on photo 103 and the right vent tab on photos 141 and 142! @CarObsessive: Great eyes and question on those screws under the lower edge on the front bumper cover on photos 39 & 40! You really are CarObsessive! ;-) @notsorossa: Please advise on both the missing tabs and the screws. Thank you!
@notsorossa I think @nnp007 is asking about the thumb tab you see present in picture 104 on the side vents, those are missing in pictures 134 - 135. What are the screws holding in picture 40 on the lower part of the front bumper cover? I don't recall my SL having these. They look like they are present on both sides, 4 screws in total.
@nnp007 tabs are there, yep.
I might be not seeing it but in pics 134-135 are the tabs present for the vents in the center console? Can’t tell. Thanks
@MTW319 new photos of the underneath have been uploaded!
@MTW319 I just got it on a lift and shot those for you. Will send to MB Market team to upload. No leaks under the car. It is dry bone, spent most of its life on the other side of the mountains of Oregon. Previous owner had for 6 years and he told me it never saw a drop of rain. He drove it roughly 3K miles under his ownership. He also told me never needed to have the cylinders replaced and neither did I. Top operates great.
Can you add some pictures of the underneath of the car, preferably on a lift or jack? Are there any leaks under the car? Have the cylinders for the top been replaced?

@NJR129NJ lol, my little brother was doing it while hiding!
How is soft top operating with no one behind the wheel?
@Boatymcboatface appreciate the comment! It's been a dream. This is a forever car for me.
@Motts71 Ah, I see it now. Thanks for calling it out. It's likely from swapping the fog light bulb. Should be able to adjust that fairly easily. I can have it resolved or new owner can, whichever is preferred.
Photos 43, 44, 45 all look like the right fog light is crooked. Is it not attached right after the accident repair?
@Motts71 Thanks for the comment! I'm not seeing anything out of place. Could you let me know what photo / photos you're looking at?
SL600/pano owner here. These offer such a versatile semi-exotic experience. This one appears to be very nice overall with great options. With such a rare interior, correct rims, top and keys I wouldn't be afraid to have any mechanical items fully sorted. Long-term this one is a real gem.
What's with the right fog light? Is it not attached correctly?
