This 2001 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG was sold new in Texas in September 2000. The car relocated to California in October 2001 where it has remained ever since. The car is finished in Brilliant Silver (744) over Black Leather (521) and powered by an AMG-supercharged 5.4-liter M113k paired with an AMG five-speed automatic transmission which was swapped from a 46k-mile 2008 SL55 AMG with the P30 Performance Package. The car underwent an extensive refurbishment in 2025 and included both aesthetic and mechanical upgrades throughout with over $30k invested according to the receipts. Equipment includes Xenon headlamps, heated multi-contour front seats, a BOSE stereo with original Becker head unit, dual-zone automatic climate control, original E55 AMG floor mats, and 19" Carlsson 2/6 wheels. Additional recent service includes a suspension overhaul, all fresh fluids and filters, window regulators, upgraded SLK55 AMG brakes, engine and transmission mounts, flex disc, center bearing, and much more. This supercharged AMG W210 currently shows 162k miles and is offered by the seller with factory literature, two keys, a Carfax report, service records, and a clean Arizona title.
This E55 is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) from the factory and underwent a full repaint in 2025 with photo documentation in the gallery. The car features AMG bodywork including sculpted bumpers, factory rolled fenders, and extended side skirts. Additional equipment includes factory-optioned Xenon headlamps with heated washers, front and rear fog lamps, a glass sunroof with tilt function, factory smoked tail lights, and dual AMG exhaust outlets. In addition to a full repaint, addition restoration work includes all new weatherstripping and seals, new OEM side mirrors, fog lights, front grille, bumper mesh grilles, and front windshield. The body is reported to be in excellent condition with no rust or blemishes noted.
Original AMG Monoblock wheels have been replaced with authentic 19” Carlsson 2/6 wheels which are wrapped in new Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The suspension was overhauled with new upper and lower control arms, Bilstein shocks, rear artms, all bearings, and H&R springs in the rear with factory E55 front springs. The brake system has also been upgraded to SLK55 AMG rotors with six-piston front and four-piston rear AMG calipers.
The leather and carbon-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates just over 161k miles and shows all working pixels in the digital clock display.
This W210 has been fitted with a supercharged 5.4-liter M113k V8 which was swapped from a 2008 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG equipped with the rare P30 Performance Package. The standard P30 package provided increased power to 510 horsepower and 531 lb-ft of torque. Power is estimated to be around 600 horsepower with the current tune. The original five-speed automatic transmission was replaced with the matching AMG transmission from the same SL55. The donor SL55 was reported to have 46k miles at the time of the swap which was performed at the Mercedes-Benz dealer in Newport Beach by the car's owner, a certified Master MB technician. The engine was disassembled during the swap and received new rod bearings, main bearing, water pump, thermostat, and oil pump. The engine and transmission mounts were also replaced along with rear subframe bushings, including the differential mount bushings. Additional work includes all new fluids and filters, a new driveshaft, flex disc, and center bearing along with O2 sensors and catalytic converters. A VRP front mount intercooler is mounted behind the lower grille with a Johnson Marine pump for the supercharger. All plastic clips, nuts, and bolts were replaced during the rebuild. A new battery was installed in April 2026.
Videos below show the underbody in detail along with a brief driving clip.

Was the wiring in the front of the car replaced? It is know you fall apart.Would you consider this to be reliable enough and comfortable enough to be a daily driver?@993tats yes, reach out to this company https://www.thekangaroosteam.com/shop-1/nsg-510-mercedes-716-6-speed-manual-transmission-v6-v8-engines?options=poi-63308e6be783d%2Ctomselect-1-opt-3%2Cpoi-633071672489c%2Ctomselect-2-opt-3@993tats thank you for you critique As for the wheels. There is no curb, rash or damage, it’s just dirt. The donor car was a flood damage from Florida , the engine and transmission was completely gone through, along with the main cap and rod bearings being replaced after everything was inspected The Alcantara leather headliner is gray Rear shelf Alcântara is black, B pillar. Alcântara is black, ANC pillars are gray Alcanterra. The carbon fiber is real carbon fiber from DubaiIs there a mercedes manual that would pair to the M113?Love this build - nice work. Add an eisenmann race exhaust and some minor cosmetic fixes and it’s perfect. A comment below mentions a flood car. Was this car a flood car? Was the donor car (engine/trans) a flood car? Questions on condition: When was the car painted? Scuff and shoot or taken down to metal? Any visible tape lines, or blends? Is the Alcantara headliner black? Light grey? Real carbon fiber trim or just a plastic carbon look trim? Any visible tape lines or blends with the paint job? Any blemishes to note? A walk around video nothing flaws is always helpful. I see the following stuff I would consider addressing to make the car 100% - what else if anything should I be prepared for upon delivery? Is there dirt IN the paint of door jamb pic 117? I see some marks in the plastic cowl. Are those touch ups along the rockers? I see front driver side wheel scuffs, is there damage to other wheels? Scratch on rear bumper? Large stone chip front bumper. Drivers seat wear. Rear metal door sill looks to have some bends? Is that a small tear in rear seat leather near this sill? Some bubbling in rear door card. Car is immaculate so none of this is to fault the car - just trying to understand if there is anything else to note to truly understand the condition.@KingHasNoClothes sorry I did not see your initial message, I just sent you a message. Thank you.@Teamblades I'm local and have sent two messages requesting to see the car. Please let me know if that's possible$14,000 bid placed by @Riolo28

@mbz2000 as well as the transmission was gone through as well. Just to ensure everything was good.@mbz2000 yes the engine was completely gone through. All bearings and seals replaced, new water pump and pillows including crank dampener, gaskets (supercharger, intake, valve cover).@acan8tve yes I do have the receipts, not all paper work is included in the pictures. I did ll the installs for this car ,including the engine/trans swap, disassembly, and reassembly of complete car including all interior. All work performed at my dealer. minus paint and body work. Dynamite installed in door, roof, trunk, Any question on any components replaced just ask. My experience is 23 years master technician with Mercedes-Benz@teamblades. I saw the video and see that you went through the engine.Perhaps I missed it but any documentation/paperwork/receipts for the motor and transmission swap (am aware that came from a donor vehicle that was subject to flood damage). See much in way of receipts from MB but too would very much be interested in this information if available.@AMG_Mechanic the ME & TCU are from the 08 SL55- Swistak loved it btw. Thanks@blackbenzz, I think a supercharged 208 is nicer than a 210, but to each his own. @teamblades, did Swistak give his stamp of approval on this swap? What ME's in the car?$11,000 bid placed by @63driver
Went to link listed below. Question? So the donor car was a flood car? Obviously, during this build you went through it but can you elaborate?I'm not a big fan of W210 body but this looks like a proper E55! No Airmatic, no SBC... Some folks here in US already started swapping manual trannies into AMG cars, so this could be a great candidate for it.@Blackbenzz carfax show minor rear- . But when I had the car disassembled for paint there was no signs of damage anywhere.- I believe it was a rear bumper cover replacement. Thanks for clearing that up. Has the car (210) been in an accident?@Blackbenzz if you read the description and see the photos, you can see it’s an SL 55. Auction posted incorrect badgeThat link goes to a SL550Here is a link to the auction site. The vehicle is purchased from showing all the pictures. https://plc.ua/en/auctions/lot/mercedes-benz-sl-550-2008-vin-wdbsk72f88f139443-1-45599744/@WDB748372 only reason for the repaint, was there was some clearcoat fading on the roof as well as the trunk lid, so I was going to keep the car for a long period of time and I thought I would just go ahead and have the car repainted. And have all the flaws taken out of it. But life has changes,@WDB748372 vin number, WDBSK72F88F139443 Mileage on the instrument cluster reading 46,178 milesWhat car/VIN did the engine come out of to confirm the mileage? If you don't know, can you provide the serial number of the engine and transmission? Any particular reason for the repaint? So much want... And I know that tune is legit. Josh at MSS did ECU tunes for my W210 E55 and my W251 R350, and I'm quite pleased!$10,055 bid placed by @Blackbenzz

Does this motor / exhaust get that OEM AMG V8 burble?@Mbb79184 no the LSD from the P 30 SL 55 was not transferred over due to axle issues. Maintains W-2 10 open differential.Wow! Such a wonderfully done build here. GLWTA!$5,000 bid placed by @jschramer
Is the limited slip from the P30 SL transplanted as well?@Jcbw the ME/TCU are from the SL 55 p30 with a tune- from the Swap shop - in Bakersfield ca. cruise control works as designedHello Can you validate what type of ECU/TCU is running the engine & transmission? Do all functions work? Cruise control?@westnewportBB thank you!@Teamblades - very good. Thanks for the instant reply, great car.@westnewportBB the vehicle is registered in Arizona, because we have property in that state. We live locally in Huntington Beach, California, the vehicle is equipped with catalytic converters and O2 sensors factory. Shouldn’t have a problem smogging in California. What a cool swap! I see the vehicle is registered in AZ, but located here in my hometown ... can this car be registered in CA or do I need to own property out of state to drive this bad boy on the streets of HB, Newport, etc? @Teamblades - rad vehicle. I have a 2002 E430 that I also bomb around town, would love to see this one in person. Thanks!$3,500 bid placed by @SilverArrow63
