This 2003 Mercedes-Benz CLK500 Coupe shows one owner from new with registration in New Jersey showing just 35k miles on the odometer. Finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) over Charcoal Leather (831), power is provided by a 5.0-liter V8 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. Factory equipment includes AMG body styling, Bi-Xenon headlamps, a power tilt/slide glass sunroof, power front seats, dual-zone climate control, Bose audio and Keyless-Go. Recent maintenance items include a Service ‘B’ with an engine oil change and brake fluid flush as well as new rear tires. Extensive dealer service history is included. This 2003 CLK500 is now offered for sale by the original owner with the original manufacturer’s literature, spare tire and tool kit and a clean New Jersey title in the seller’s name.

The exterior is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) and features AMG body styling including a sculpted front air dam with mesh intakes, side skirts and rear apron. Exterior features include a power tilt/slide glass sunroof, factory blue-tinted glass, Bi-Xenon headlamps, dual-power mirrors with an auto-dimming driver side, rain-sensing wipers, heated headlamp and windshield washers and Keyless-Go. The seller reports that the rear bumper has previously been repainted with two rear-end accidents reported on the Carfax in 2004 and 2010.

The 17” AMG five-spoke alloy wheels have been fitted with a set of Pirelli Cinturato tires measuring 225/45 front and 245/40 rear. The rear tires were replaced by the dealer in March 2021 showing 2018 date codes with the fronts showing 2015. The wheels show some signs of curb rash. A spare tire can be found mounted below the trunk floor along with the factory jack, tool kit and first-aid kit.

The cabin is upholstered in Charcoal Leather (831) and features matching black floor mats and Burl Walnut wood trim which lines the center console and door panels. The wood trim shows no signs of cracking or fading. Both front seats offer 10-way adjustability as well as three-position memory. Additional interior amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a power-adjustable steering column, an 8-speaker Bose audio system, a 6-disc CD changer mounted in the glove box, 60/40 split-folding rear seats, a power rear sunshade and an engine start/stop button mounted to the gear selector.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock and digital gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The centrally-mounted digital display can be configured to show various vehicle information while the digital odometer shows just 35k miles from new.

This pillarless-coupe is powered by a 5.0-liter M113 V8 engine which produces 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque which is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. Service records included by the seller show an engine oil change and a brake fluid flush performed in March 2021 along with a new crankshaft position sensor in February 2018. Extensive dealer service history is included with the car and is viewable in the photo gallery below.

The Carfax report shows just one owner with registration shown in New Jersey along with linear mileage updates and regular service visits from new. The aforementioned accident reports are shown in 2004 and 2010 with no other accident or damage history present on the Carfax report. The MB Market Insights

On paper, the redesigned CLK (C/A209) for 2003 was much improved over the previous generation. Not only was the cockpit more spacious for both front and rear passengers, Mercedes was also able to increase body rigidity by 40%, lower drag coefficient, reduce lift, add additional safety features, and get to 60mph a hair quicker if you opted for the V8. The updated interior was truly a work of art and finding a true coupe that has a usable rear seat is not easy. The 5.0L M113 V8 was the perfect powerplant for the CLK providing ample passing power while still managing to be efficient and reliable. The AMG Sport package was a must have option as seen on this CLK500. The sculpted AMG body kit and wheels greatly improved the overall appearance. As the CL’s younger pillarless sibling, this CLK proves to be a very strong value buy on the market today. Many examples have accumulated plenty of miles over the years making clean examples difficult to find. This car comes with just one owner showing 35k miles making for an excellent opportunity for a collector to pick up an iconic piece of early 2000’s Mercedes-Benz design.

I agree with the seller's higher reserve. These are excellent vehicles and worth much more $. This clean very low mileage example is amazing. I own a similar model and it has been excellent.

Hi everyone, thanks for your interest in this auction. I’m selling this car on behalf of a friend from high school. It belonged to her parents who returned back to their home country and left the car for her use as she still lives here. This car was bought new fully loaded, and was serviced at the selling dealer regularly its entire life. Service record files can be transferred to the new owner.
