@55NA In July 2019 I paid $10,500 ($14,800 in today's dollars) for mine with BBS wheels, Lorinser roof spoiler and front splitter, burgundy/ black interior and a questionable exhaust resonator delete. It also had a boogered up sound system and some New York ownership. This car was 9.5 out of 10 in presentation and replaced a well bought but cosmetically inferior version of the same year that was totaled by an errant driver. The vehicle presented here is much more original. The current price is extremely low. No I am not a shill, just a huge fan of these vehicles.
I own a 2003 CLK55 and I love it! Effortless acceleration, firm but very comfortable ride quality, and space for four adults! In my estimation this model is the best specification with bigger brakes and quad exhaust outlets. My spec was the Formula 1 safety car for 2003. With proper maintenance (which is not necessarily expensive) the drivetrain is bulletproof. Something to keep in mind is the rarity of these 209 AMGs. Only 1,517 were brought into the US and this car is one of 247 for model year 2005. Whoever buys this example will not be disappointed.
Thanks for the underside pics. This car looks to be in great shape! I have the c209 55 AMG and I love it. The 208 has double wishbone front suspension so it's more adjustable than the Macpherson strut found on the 209....same reliable drivetrain too!
There is a glaring lack of undercarriage photos in this listing. Any car that spent nearly 2 decades in Wisconsin is susceptible to rust issues. Could we please have some photos of the underside of the car?

I agree with the seller's higher reserve. These are excellent vehicles and worth much more $. This clean very low mileage example is amazing. I own a similar model and it has been excellent.
How is the engine wiring harness?

It would be very nice to see undercarriage pictures. I wouldn't consider any New York car without evidence of condition of the frame, suspension and exhaust.
