Exterior equipment includes a panorama sunroof, Bi-Xenon headlamps with Active Curve Illumination, Distronic adaptive cruise control, dual heated power mirrors, Keyless-Go, an electronic trunk closer, rain-sensing wipers, dual-pane infrared-reflecting glass, Parktronic parking sensors and a rear view camera. The Active Body Control suspension uses hydropneumatic struts to provide a level ride with adjustability for height and stiffness. The seller states that an ABC line was recently replaced along with new front control arms. A spare tire is fitted in the trunk along with the factory tool kit.

The cabin is trimmed in Exclusive Black Leather (501) with black rubber floor mats and a gray Alcantara headliner. Polished Burl Walnut wood trim lines the center console, dash, steering wheel and door panels. Both front seats are heated and ventilated with multicontour adjustment. Interior appointments include four-zone automatic climate control, heated and ventilated power-adjustable rear outboard seats with lumbar, Night View Assist, interior ambient lighting, an 8” COMAND display with navigation and a 14-speaker Harman/Kardon Logic7 surround sound system. Signs of wear are visible on the front seats. 

The wood/leather steering wheel fronts a digital 160-mph speedometer which is flanked by analog instrumentation consisting of a 7k-rpm tachometer, a fuel gauge and a coolant temperature gauge. The digital odometer currently shows 110k miles from new.

This long-wheelbase W221 is powered by a M275 5.5-liter biturbo V12 which is factory rated for 510 horsepower and 612 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. Maintenance performed in August 2023 includes a service ‘B’ with an engine oil change, a new battery, new engine and transmission mounts and a transmission fluid flush.

The Carfax report shows five owners with registration reported in California from new. Linear mileage updates are shown along with the aforementioned damage report in 2015.
