This 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Black Series was originally delivered to Mercedes-Benz of Boerne, Texas in March 2008 and remained with the original owner until it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2022. It is powered by a hand-built 6.2-liter M156 V8 paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission and remains one of only 400 CLK63 Black Series examples imported to the United States. The car is finished in Iridium Silver Metallic (775) over Black (811) Nappa leather, and equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 19″ AMG multi-spoke wheels, an AMG adjustable coilover suspension, bi-xenon headlights, carbon-fiber trim, power-adjustable seats, COMAND infotainment, navigation, a Harman Kardon Sound System, and dual-zone automatic climate control. This one-owner CLK63 AMG Black Series has only 5k miles and is now offered in Florida with two keys, manufacturer's literature, a VMI, a clean Carfax report and a clean Texas title.
DTM-inspired flared fenders, carbon-fiber-reinforced front and rear aprons, extended side skirts, and a carbon-fiber decklid spoiler were added to the CLK63 Black Series. This example is finished in Iridium Silver and features bi-xenon headlights, headlight washers, fender vents, and quad polished exhaust outlets. The paintwork on this 5k-mile example is believed to be all original and paint meter readings are provided in the gallery below. The seller notes that there is a small crack near bottom right corner of the windshield on the driver's side, and a minor paint imperfection near the driver's side wheel arch. Photos of the above are provided in the gallery.
The 19″ AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels retain their original polished finish and are mounted with 265/30 front and 285/30 rear Firestone Firehawk tires with 2018 date codes. Adjustable coilovers and AMG Electronic Stability Program (ESP) were standard. Stopping power is provided by multi-piston AMG-branded calipers over cross-drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners.
The cockpit features power-adjustable bolstered bucket seats trimmed in Black Nappa leather along with a color-matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. The rear seats were deleted in Black Series models, and appointments include aluminum and carbon-fiber trim, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a Harman Kardon sound system, and COMAND infotainment with navigation.
The flat-bottom leather-wrapped AMG steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters and frames a 200-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 5,100 miles; nearly all of which were added by the single, original owner.
The hand-assembled 6.2-liter M156 V8 was factory rated at 500 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through an AMG Speedshift seven-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Additional photos of the underbody are included in the gallery.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Texas since new. This Black Series coupe is now offered in Miami, Florida with two keys, manufacturer’s literature, a VMI, a clean Carfax and a clean Texas title.
