For more than half a century the Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been the pinnacle of luxury, safety, status, and ingenuity as the benchmark by which every other manufacturer measures their flagship sedans. Every iteration of the S-Class receives notable improvements over the prior generations and even as the new models are released, these W222 chassis cars make it seem as though perfection has already been achieved. Facts aside, this specific S550 has been well serviced and well-loved, and comes with a very impressive options list. Examples like this are an enormous value buy in today's market. The original window sticker shows a $117k MSRP and with only 44k miles and a healthy documented service history, this S550 is just getting warmed up. On top of that, the extended warranty and the gorgeous color combination of this S-class makes this a step above the rest.

I haven't been able to find one of these with a warranty. Most dealers quote them high.

Getting close to the end of the auction! I wanted to ask if there was a comment someone tried posting at 4:10pm today. I got an email notification but didn’t see it here. If you have any further questions ask away. Thanks and best of luck!

Hello everyone, a couple more questions were asked to me through messages. Below are the answers which I thought may help others who are interested. Picture 91 shows the night vision. That is a feature that is automated while driving at night. If there is someone or something on the side of the road, that screen will appear in the cluster and have a red box around the object. The car also flashes the object with the headlight. It’s really amazing how they do it because it the headlight turns into a spotlight and only flashes that particular object. Truly amazing I couldn’t believe it the first time I saw it happen, which is a feature that happens automatically. Slide 117 is a page out of the warranty contract. I included that to show everyone how minimal the exclusions are. I shopped like crazy to find that warranty. Most contracts I read had 8-10 times the amount of verbiage in the exclusions section. Also, that particular section shows that the air ride system IS covered in the warranty. That is very rare when it comes to aftermarket warranties. I’ve never had an issue with the air ride, but if it did come up this warranty would cover it.

@mhs244 When I bought the car from Koons Toyota in Tyson’s Corner, two of the tires were older than the other two. I forget the date code, but they were clearly not replaced when the other two were. So I had the dealer replace the two old tires. Those were the OEM Pirelli runflats. After owning the car for a few months, GT Peace recommended, and I researched that everyone in the forums said that non runflat tires would improve the ride quality. I decided to switch out the runflats for the current Michelin Pilot Sport 4s’s that are on the car. Those are the only two sets of tires that have been on the car during my ownership. There has never been an issue with the car wearing tires out
Looking over the carfax, there are multiple entries where 2 tires were mounted and multiple occurance of alignment. Is there something perpetually wrong with alignments that it keeps wearing the tires off every 10 plus thousand miles and you have put up new tires?

@MBLOYALTY yes it is transferable
@MBLOYALTY Yeah, its a transferrable warranty. It explicitly says so in the listing description: "The car comes with a fully transferrable extended warranty which does exclude some items and remains in effect for another 3 years or 25k miles. An image of the warranty terms can be seen in the gallery". Looks like a super nice car with good presentation by the seller. GLWA
Is the warranty transferable?
Sweet whip!
One of the few modern Mercs I can always get behind. (Daily driver is a 222), these are everything they should be as an S-Class and killer value right now.
Hello everyone, thank you for viewing the auction. It has been a dream come true to drive this S550 for the past year. I recently moved to Rhode Island from the DC area and am selling to buy something more rugged. I included one of the pages from the warranty contract in the photos. I do have the full contract if you’d like to view it I could send it separately. It is an exclusionary warranty which is desired when it comes to a vehicle with so many components. This particular warranty does not exclude the Airmatic suspension! If I can provide any more information please don’t hesitate to ask. Best of luck to all the bidders.
