This grille was removed from a 1973 Mercedes-Benz 280SE 4.5 and adorned with 17 grille badges from various events, countries, and groups. The badges were purchased by the seller from The Zimmerman Museum in El Segundo, California prior to its closing. A mounting bracket has been affixed to the back of the grille for any hanging needs. This collection is offered by the seller out of Indio, California. The seller has offered to help package the grille and badges for shipping.

The badges were on display at The Zimmerman Museum prior to it’s closing and represent various clubs, countries, companies, and groups around the world. The badges and their measurements are listed below. 

- ‘One Lap Of America For RMCC Badge’ measuring 3” in diameter. The seller reports this badge to be in collector grade condition. 

-Rotterdam Badge’’ measuring 1 ¾” x 2 ¼”. The seller reports this badge to be in collector grade condition. 

-’Paris-Dakar’ Rally Isuzu Trooper Champion ’94 Badge’’ measuring 3 ¼ “  diameter.  The seller notes this badge to show some wear to the enamel with a depiction of the Eiffel Tower and a rider on a camel. 

-Royal Automobile Club Of Canada Badge’’ was cast in brass and shows some wear from prior use. Portions of the badge are missing some enamel. 

-Deutschland Flag Badge’ measuring 3x2 ¼” shows some wear with a small enamel chip.

-’Bolivia Flag Badge’ measuring 2 ¾ x 2 ¼”  is noted to be in good condition with minor use marks.

-’Upper Volta Flag Badge’ measuring 2 ¾ x 2 ½ is noted to be from pre-1984 and prior to Volta’s name change to Burkina Faso.

-’Argentina Flag Badge’ in light blue  measures 2 ¾ x 2 ½” and shows some enamel loss. It’s noted to be in above-average condition.  

-’French Flag Badge’ measures 3x2 ½” and shows some light wear. 

-’Argentina Flag Badge’  This dark blue version measures 2 ¾ x 2 ½”

-’Gulf Daytona Badge’ measures  2 ½” wide and shows good coloration. 

-’Gulf Research Racing Company Badge’ is noted to be in good condition

-”RAC” Royal Auto Club Badge measures 4 ¼” wide

-’International 1000 Rally Silver Anniversary MG Club Badge’ measures  1 ¾ x 3” shows some light wear.

-’Montserrat Badge’ measures 2x3” cast in brass missing some enamel with blue and white colors showing. 

-’Switzerland Badge’ measures 4” and noted to be in good condition
