This Mercedes-Benz glass panoramic removable hardtop is finished in Black (040) and was built for use on 1990-2002 R129 series cars of the era. The top features a steel frame, a glass panoramic roof with a retractable sunshade, glass windows, and Black vinyl trim. This R129 SL hardtop is now offered from the seller in Los Angeles, California.
The top is finished in Black (040) and features a panoramic glass roof and glass windows with painted steel bodywork along the frame. The original Alarm Code stickers from the factory are present on the side windows and visible in the gallery below.
The interior of the top features a retractable sunshade and grab handles on both the driver and passenger sides. The sunshade operates smoothly and extends/retracts as designed without issue.
The non-glass interior surfaces are trimmed in Black vinyl and photos showing the condition of the interior surfaces are provided in the gallery. The top has been tested and all latch points operate correctly when mated with an R129 chassis vehicle. Rubber and felt trim points appear in good condition with no major deterioration or obvious wear.

Such an awesome option to have on the SL and this one looks to be in absolutely fantastic condition, which is getting much harder to find. So many have chipped glass or missing/damaged trim. I have found them to be well priced and reliable. They pick up, package and transport. I have shipped large auto items with them in the past, they are a great service. I think you can call for a quote. I have researched the weight of the Pano top online and have figures ranging from 92lbs to 135lbs. I don't know what the correct weight is and I do not have any scales to weigh it myself.
