@IAMANISLAND Congratulations!! I will be in contact with you via email shortly.
Let me know if you have any last questions! Good Luck Everyone.
@Enriquelobo Hey! Thanks for the question. I would have total faith in my W202 for a road trip like that.
Please if anyone has questions, post them below! Happy Sunday!
@hawaiibenz I am glad it could clear up your concern. Unfortunately I can't respond to comments with photos or upload any photos in the comment section. If you look at photo number 208 you can just see the frame rail which is totally clear of any rust. I just went into my garage to look at it and It's very clean with no corrosion at all. The car is in exceptional condition cosmetically and I don't have any other issues that come to mind. The paint is all original and shines excellent. There is no sun fade to any panels or trims. It shows wonderfully.
@hawaiibenz Thank you for the comment. I can assure you the car has no rust. The only surface rust I’ve ever found was on the fuel filter bracket and the transmission pan bolts (shown in the photos). What you’re seeing in photos 231 and 233 is simply the natural curve of the floor. I’ll be sending additional photos, including detailed shots of the engine bay. The only cosmetic flaw in the engine bay is slight flaking on the valve cover finish. The car was recently serviced, including an oil and filter change, supercharger service, and replacement of the engine air filter. Steering is tight, the suspension feels fresh, and the car was inspected with no concerns noted. Please also note that the underside of the car has never been cleaned or touched up. What you see reflects its true condition as a well-maintained, garaged car with 117,000 miles. I hope this addresses your questions. I’ll be back shortly with more engine bay photos. Respectfully, Bintoe
Hello Bidders and Spectators! Today, my beloved W202 is going live on the MB Market, giving one of you the opportunity to take home an absolute garage queen. This is an April 17, 2000 production car equipped with the special and rare P14 "Special Edition Sport Package". Letting this car go is incredibly difficult, but I simply don’t drive it enough to justify keeping it. Please feel free to message me with any questions you may have about the car. She drives like new and feels exceptionally nimble and sporty with plenty of torque thanks to the supercharger. When cruising, it glides down the road like a proper Mercedes-Benz. One of the many reasons we all love these cars. Recent service work includes an Engine and Kompressor service last month. The engine air filter was also replaced and tire pressures were checked. The paint is washed and waxed regularly, and the previous owner maintained it with the same level of care. It has always been garage kept here in California and is driven about once a week. The leather and interior shows minimal to no wear and retains its original matte finish, just as it did when it left the production line. No cracks in any trim or sun fade. This is a truly beautiful and rare example in the world of W202s, and I know I’ll kick myself for letting it go. Good luck, and I’ll be watching! Bintoe
