The exterior is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) and features sport styling with monochromatic body trim, Sport package-specific carbon-look B-pillar trim and sport badges. The decklid has a subtle spoiler added to match the rest of the Sport body kit and these Option 956 cars also got the smoked brake lights from the C43 AMG. Exterior features include heated power mirrors with an auto-dimming passenger side, a power tilt/slide glass sunroof, remote central locking, and integrated front fog lamps. The seller notes the paint is original with some light scuff marks on the impact strips on the bumpers and scrapes on the front chin.
The Sport Package includes the addition of 15” Style II AMG Monoblock alloy wheels finished in silver which have been fitted with Falken Sincera SN250 A/S tires measuring 215/60 on all four corners showing date codes from 2022. Some of the center caps show wear. The original Sport-tuned suspension had different valving in the shocks, firmer springs, reinforced upper control arms, and thicker solid sway bars front and rear. The owner has newer HD Bilstein shocks for the front installed. A spare tire can be found mounted below the trunk floor along with the original tool kit.
The cabin is trimmed in Two-tone Orion Gray Nappa Leather (258) and features a grey headliner with black pillars, matching carpets, and four silver-piped original floor mats while carbon-look sport trim lines the center console and door panels. A Sport specific shift knob controls the 2000 model year only TouchShift transmission. The front sport-contoured seats offer 10-way power adjustability for both driver and passenger. Additional interior amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, cruise control, and a smaller diameter sport steering wheel. The 60/40 split-folding rear seats allow for through loading. The headliner is noted to be sagging and shown in the gallery.
The small diameter leather-wrapped steering wheel lifted from the C43 AMG frames ivory gauges with orange backlighting including a 160-mph speedometer and 7k-rpm tachometer, along with gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. Digital instrumentation includes a digital clock, an outside temperature sensor, and a digital odometer which currently shows just over 117k miles.
This W202 is powered by a M111K 2.3-liter supercharged inline-four which is factory rated at 185 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed TouchShift 722.6 automatic transmission that was only for the 2000 model year of the W202. Traction control and BAS were standard on the 2000 model year. Some records are included with the car. Undersides are included and show zero rust or corrosion.
The Carfax report shows three owners with the first owner having the car until 2020. The car comes with partial service records and the Carfax shows linear mileage updates with no accidents or damage reports. This C230 Sport is now offered for sale by the third owner with records, two original keys, spare tire, the original tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.

We’re all W202 fanatics here having owned some of the rarest, best driving examples produced by Mercedes-Benz. Some of our family members have owned W202 Sports and there’s memories of us trying to find clean examples fifteen years ago. They were hard to source even back then. Enter 2026 and the W202 has experienced two decades of being a “cheap Mercedes” and attrition rates have led the ‘90s C-Class in a death march toward extinction. While the C36 and C43 had lower production numbers, they have always been owned and coveted by enthusiasts making them more common in the marketplace. A C230 Kompressor Sport with the P14 option “Special Edition” in good shape with healthy miles is like stumbling upon an undiscovered Northern White Rhinoceros. All of us at The MB Market adore this example and love the super rare Style II Monoblocks and its pristine interior condition. It even has the original floor mats and the B-pillar faux carbon hasn’t been sun damaged! The sagging headliner can be replaced with silver Alcantara as well as the moon roof panel – some skilled upholstery shops can wrap the sun visors in thinly cut Alcantara to match and it will look OEM. We see a lot of rare cars on the site and this one fits right in. This is a “if you know, you know” car all day long. Die hard MB guys like us will be watching this example.

@Enriquelobo Hey! Thanks for the question. I would have total faith in my W202 for a road trip like that.Could I drive this from LA-SF? No problems? Please if anyone has questions, post them below! Happy Sunday! If I had more space I'd be all over this. I remember searching for one of these back in 2008-2009 for my first car, but ended up with a 190E 2.6 (was cheaper back then). These are so slept on and I love the originality of it. This is arguably one of the rarer cars listed on The MB Market right now. I love it and I hope it does well.$1,500 bid placed by @hawaiibenz
@hawaiibenz I am glad it could clear up your concern. Unfortunately I can't respond to comments with photos or upload any photos in the comment section. If you look at photo number 208 you can just see the frame rail which is totally clear of any rust. I just went into my garage to look at it and It's very clean with no corrosion at all. The car is in exceptional condition cosmetically and I don't have any other issues that come to mind. The paint is all original and shines excellent. There is no sun fade to any panels or trims. It shows wonderfully. Thanks for confirming the details in the underside photos (it looks stock but have to ask) and the comment on the underside hasn't been touched up. Valve cover flaking is expected, so I'm good there.@hawaiibenz Thank you for the comment. I can assure you the car has no rust. The only surface rust I’ve ever found was on the fuel filter bracket and the transmission pan bolts (shown in the photos). What you’re seeing in photos 231 and 233 is simply the natural curve of the floor. I’ll be sending additional photos, including detailed shots of the engine bay. The only cosmetic flaw in the engine bay is slight flaking on the valve cover finish. The car was recently serviced, including an oil and filter change, supercharger service, and replacement of the engine air filter. Steering is tight, the suspension feels fresh, and the car was inspected with no concerns noted. Please also note that the underside of the car has never been cleaned or touched up. What you see reflects its true condition as a well-maintained, garaged car with 117,000 miles. I hope this addresses your questions. I’ll be back shortly with more engine bay photos. Respectfully, BintoeThis is really nice and while it's not up on a rack for underside photos I appreciate the effort to detail the underside of this car. Rust is a big issue and I'm very interested even though it's not exactly what I'm looking for simply due to the condition as it's impossible to find a 202 in my local market without some sort of rust. I have several spots where I can park it in SoCal with the closest in Pacific Beach. For the seller, could you share additional photos of the engine bay? Looking specifically at the metal "frame rails" under the washer reservoir and the same on the other side of the engine bay? There are painted brackets in those areas that could rust and while it's not a big deal, it's just something to factor into fixing. I appreciate the disclosure on the headliner. Is that a bump in the floorpan in photos 231 and 233? Hard to tell from the angle of the photo. Can you also highlight any specifics on recent work done? Any issues with the suspension rubber? Such as deteriorated links or joints? Any service or maintenance needs, cosmetic needs aside from the headliner? All fixable, just good to know.$250 bid placed by @Peabo
Hello Bidders and Spectators! Today, my beloved W202 is going live on the MB Market, giving one of you the opportunity to take home an absolute garage queen. This is an April 17, 2000 production car equipped with the special and rare P14 "Special Edition Sport Package". Letting this car go is incredibly difficult, but I simply don’t drive it enough to justify keeping it. Please feel free to message me with any questions you may have about the car. She drives like new and feels exceptionally nimble and sporty with plenty of torque thanks to the supercharger. When cruising, it glides down the road like a proper Mercedes-Benz. One of the many reasons we all love these cars. Recent service work includes an Engine and Kompressor service last month. The engine air filter was also replaced and tire pressures were checked. The paint is washed and waxed regularly, and the previous owner maintained it with the same level of care. It has always been garage kept here in California and is driven about once a week. The leather and interior shows minimal to no wear and retains its original matte finish, just as it did when it left the production line. No cracks in any trim or sun fade. This is a truly beautiful and rare example in the world of W202s, and I know I’ll kick myself for letting it go. Good luck, and I’ll be watching! Bintoe
