We live near the MIA airport. If you are interested in flying into Miami to drive the car home, we can arrange to pick you up. It is a stunning highway car. We will be adding in some goodies we got from the European Delivery Pre-Delivery trip we did when we purchased this US spec car and did a pre-delivery vacation with it at the factory and museum in Europe, before it was sent here by the factory and had it's new car delivery at the Coral Gables dealer as a US spec and US registered new Mercedes-Benz.
@motaki76this is a USA order car. A USA built car. A car delivered as NEW in the USA at the Coral Gables, Florida dealership. It is serviceable at all USA dealerships with USA parts. The European Delivery is like a preview, a factory tour, setup of your car and ability to drive it around Europe. It is then returned back to them and they complete the process of delivering the car at the dealer as a new USA car. It is not and has never been a model built for the European market. It is not and has never been a grey market car. This was a service offered by Mercedes-Benz United State of America to enhance the car buying experience.
@motaki76no. Magic Ride with Curve Control could not be had with 4Matic. No 4Matic W222 can approach the ride quality of this car.
@motaki76Yes. It has a clean, unencombered, one-owner Florida title, delivered as a new car in Florida.
@motaki76The car was purchased through the MBUSA Mercedes European Delivery program. It was built from the outset to USA specifications. It was temporarily registered in Europe and mapped for their fuel for the delivery and our driving vacation there. Then the car was dropped off at a Mercedes approved shipping service which then shipped the car to the USA where it was gone over by MBUSA and reprogrammed to deal with our different fuel standards. It was then sent to the Coral Gables, Florida dealer for final USA delivery prep and registered in the USA in the state of Florida, where it has resided ever since. It is a USA market car, not a European market car, with USA registration.
