The originals are not missing, I have them in storage somewhere. The tires on the original wheels are no good, but I do have the hubcaps and wheels. I don’t know the exact location of them so I did not want to include it in the sale mentioning. After the sale, once I get more time I will go through all my parts and whatever I find specific to this car I can forward to the new owner. I just did not want to mention it and make a promise in an untimely manner. I may also have black carpet in addition to the red, but again I have to double check and cannot make any promises it’s been many years since I’ve collected all this stuff, along with parts for my other cars. The original wheels will only give you an option of Maxxis tires in size 13, I got a brand new spare 14” wheel from a pagoda and put a new 14” tire on it in the trunk. Driving on the highway with these 14” and in the rain, adds a lot of peace of mind compared to the 13” Maxxis. I’ve driven on both, the 14”s are much more friendly for the way this car was used.
@3PedalKing Shoot me a message, I will send you over videos. Wire hanging lose in pic 79 is the USB connection port for your phone. It is Bluetooth, but you have the option to plug your phone in directly. Hubcaps have been changed from a newer model (14” versus factory 13”), they were all painted but the drivers side started peeling a little so I removed the paint on the one side entirely. They were painted about 10 years ago. No AC, not many 1962 220S will have that.
For anyone interested, I took a video earlier this evening (6PM) after the car was sitting for about 4-5 days showing a start up. I also have videos from 2 weeks ago on me doing 80 Highway and videos from 10 years ago doing the same. I have plenty of stuff I can share, any details, any questions please do not hesitate to reach out. I will send them to you, as well as can FaceTime or take any fresh pictures. I can talk about this car all day. I will tell you everything that I know.

I’ve put a lot of time into this and I didn’t realize it until now, when it came time to list the items for auction. The carpet is still sitting in the wrapper and inside the box in my living room. Just get in and drive.
@Static50thank you, I’ve had this one since I was 18…I’ve had fintails since 14 and my grandfather had a few new along with my dad and uncle when they were kids as first cars. I’ve been around them more than I havent and this was the one I’ve always kept. The manual transmission makes all the difference and with the shifter on the column, you really got yourself a good time here!
@Showcase78So it is the same car? The wheels refinished wasn’t mentioned, but I have the before pics. The Indian guy bought it from MD and put it on fb marketplace 2 days later. Me and my friend both called it that this would show up on MB market with this exact history background 10 months ago when it was sold. But carry on.
@Showcase78I’m just mentioning it looks awfully similar to the 2003 S500 4matic sport that I have FB messages from 2 different people on being in MD and one being in NJ…if it’s not the same car, that’s my mistake. If it is, just giving a heads up where it’s due. I still have the pictures to both ads and the sellers name, the second one was in NJ. Again, if it’s not the same car that’s my mistake.
If this is the same car that was in MD and NJ, it was flipped a few times. I have the messages with the sellers and the pics from the original ads. I was trying to buy it both times, the second seller flipped it quick from the first. One of them had towing repair plates on it which I believe was the first seller, that’s why it might not show up as an owner. The people were two completely different people. So far, the car is the same I don’t have the VIN to verify but the miles, front license plate, 4matic sport S500 in white/grey (2003) and rear heated seats, keyless go are all a match. This might be a twin but just a heads up.
