Given the soft top is supposed to work automatically, and this is a late model r129 the soft top inoperability literally is a big deal, not just a minor issue. Replacing all 11 hydraulic cylinders is a $2000-$3000 affair… definitely don’t raise the roll bar or that’s not coming back down till the repair happens!

@Virafpthe interior trim parts of these hardtops are easily removable. Once that is done, give them to an upholstery shop and they can dye the panels to any color you want.
