None of the documents mention the word “Koenig” that I saw. Period pictures of the car are at least from the 90s judging by the Audi (?) in the background. You can email Koenig Ana ask them to authenticate it, though I doubt they will. Nevertheless, I would give it a try
Very skeptical. This looks like no other Koenig kit I’ve ever seen on an r107 and the side skirts and fender vents look 2000s not 1980s. We sure about this?
@BlueridgeMB like I said, I get it from a cerebral perspective, but to have to explain to every non-car-guy under 45 why you paid $500k for a 30 year old e-class wouldn’t be fulfilling for me, personally. Now a c126 widebody, that’s a different story.
Other than the legendary status and rarity I don’t get the appeal of these cars. Very unemotional. Too cerebral. But I hope it brings seven figures!
