@ShawnirelandI would do it in a heart beat!! 😁💯
@fschurathis is just the vehicle for that road trip!
@Davema79LOL, yes, sir!
@Davema79my pleasure, for clarity, I have gotten her up to 90MPH with no vibrations or shaking.
@Davema79I am very OCD and I went through this thing more than once. I literally took it two days ago to have the wheels rotated and rebalanced just to make sure everything is perfect. I have an invoice to back it up! Super smooth, no vibrating.
@AdamaldbYou're welcome.
@AdamaldbI’m not a dealership but rather a private owner therefore the sale is as is, but I can assure you that the car runs and drives as it should.
@Adamaldbwhat type of warranty are you referring to? It’s a 31 year-old car and all of the work that was performed was performed by licensed and certified mechanics so at least their portion of repairs would fall under a one year 12,000 mile warranty, I will need to confirm that is the case with all three of them, but I’ve been working with them for over a decade so I have faith in their ability
@Adamaldbmy pleasure!
Quite simply, I purchased the car to fix up and sell. I have done this for nearly 3 decades. 😃
I wanted to take a moment to provide some context on the service documentation you’ll see uploaded to this listing. This car was gone through thoroughly before being offered for sale — not just a detail and flip. A combination of professional shop work and hands-on service I completed myself. I currently own more than a few Mercedes-Benz vehicles and have been buying and selling cars for the past 25 years, so I know what proper preparation looks like and what buyers expect to see. The professional work was performed by my regular independent Mercedes mechanic and the transmission shop I’ve worked with for years — both of whom I trust completely. Their invoices are attached and speak for themselves. I also performed several items myself, including cabin filter, spark plugs, MAF sensor cleaning, amplifier replacement, and rotors and pads. I know this car well and wanted every serious bidder to have full confidence in what they’re getting. Everything found was either addressed or disclosed. No deferred maintenance, no hidden surprises. Happy to answer any questions on the work.
Last day on the 1995 Mercedes-Benz S420. I'm around all day — questions, photos, video, service documentation, whatever you need. The car was freshly serviced before listing: tires, brakes, rotors, shocks, upper control arms, fan clutch, fluids — receipts available. Everything known is disclosed upfront. Would love to aee this car to go to a good home!
@mikelacai’m sure for an enclosed trailer which this car deserves would be a pretty penny!
@thembmarketthank you kindly.
@ottobenzactually there are four keys, one remote control, infrared and three mechanical keys. Happy to send a picture, the infrared remote control key works great and I put a brand new battery in it.
@thembmarketThank you! The new photo is of the reverse antennas in their elevated position.
**UPDATE** I wanted to share that there has been additional service completed on the car beyond what was listed in the original description. The transmission has been serviced for good measure and the shifter bushing has been replaced during the transmission service. Additionally the MAF sensor was thoroughly cleaned when the pictures of the intake and wiring harness were taken which will keep everything running smoothly through the air intake system. The vehicle is running top knotch!! Strong and smooth as it is intended to do. Just want to make sure whoever buys this car has the full picture. Happy to answer any additional questions. Thank you.
@thembmarketthank you! The new photos are of the intake, spark plug wires and wiring harness that is visible.
@Davema79the reverse antennas worked perfectly!
@Davema79the lumbar seats, the trunk release on the center console inside the cabin and the power antenna doesn’t go up. I know that there is power running to the antenna because I looked into that myself, I was going to order one from eBay to replace it, about $150. I didn’t want to mess with the trunk release button because you never know if the wood trim pieces will crack or break considering the age.
@Jasper_StokesI'm happy to take the airbox off and inspect, I can take pictures too.
@Jasper_Stokeshas not been replaced to my knowledge but there are no issues with the vehicle.
Welcome, and thank you for stopping by the listing for my 1995 Mercedes-Benz S420 (W140)! I'm genuinely excited to share this car with the MB Market community and find it a home with someone who appreciates it as much as I do. I've done my best to document everything thoroughly, but please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions — no detail is too small. I'm happy to provide additional photos, video walkthroughs, or any further information you need to feel confident. Good luck to all bidders, and feel free to ask anything. I'm here and happy to help!
