@rotationalweightWipers work, relatively new blades, heat will make you sweat (it does turn off though, monovalve in good working order), AC components are present, just not working. I can help advise what hoses and fittings are needed to make it work.
@rotationalweightframe rails are great, any corrosion on them is from jacking it up in a past life and scraping off some undercoat. There is a small hole in the picture mentioned, but the peeling undercoat makes it appear more drastic than it is. I don’t recall what cruising RPM is at freeway speeds, but it’s the same driveline as a w126 so that should be the same as that. I am not sure on maintenance on the m117. It’s very healthy, I’ve peaked at the cams and the chain and they seem to be in good shape. Old cars always ask for something to be fixed, right now it’s pretty content. Some better speakers would be on the list and a cruise amp
@rotationalweightI sure would hop in it and go a thousand miles, just fill it up. It is a factory black on black car.
@StudioDudeI am pretty sure they are just regular ole MB Tex. I will have the description updated, I didn’t notice it said leather.
@burdenThis car was originally from Nashville Tennessee where it lived there since I think 1991 per the old title. So the rust you see isn’t perforated and even the battery tray itself is still intact. Normally the seams on the inner fenders of these will rust in michigan, but this one is very solid. The body I can’t argue with, but it makes for a fun car nonetheless and you don’t have to worry about much while enjoying it on the road!
@harry19It’s currently around 176K on the donor drivetrain from the SEC
