Thanks for the answers, that covers most of my concerns! Couple last things: I noticed the dealer added a second key earlier this year. Does it come with two working keys now, or just the one? Also, since it spent most of its life in NJ, I wanted to ask about rust. The underbody shots look like surface patina to me, but how do the rockers, floor pans, and subframe mounts look in person? any structural rust or past rust repair I should know about? Beautiful ML, emerald green over sand is such a great combo on these, and great to see one this clean and honest. Had a few questions before I get more serious on bidding: 1. How does the transmission shift? Any flaring, clunks, or hesitation, especially on the 2 to3 upshift? 2.Has the trans ever had a service, or is it still on the original “lifetime” fill? 3. Any ESP / BAS / ABS warning lights, even intermittently? 4. How’s the transfer case or AWD system? Any whine, binding, or noise on turns? 5. Does it hold temp steady, any cooling quirks? 6. And how’s the A/C? I had an issue with my previous ml with the compressor. Thanks, and good luck with the sale!
