@geri yes, they’ve been fitted with alcantara
Hello Gents, coming up on the end of our auction! If there are any questions please fire away, this is a combo you are unlikely to see, well sorted and looks right! Good luck
@wavydave When the car was purchased we were notified that the meter had been changed at 65k km. This can be verified through a car VX report. 65k + Current = 140k km (86k miles). This is verified mileage by the Japanese system.
Here is a in depth walk around, features all jams and structal points. Along with the revs to hear the J’s auto exhaust ! https://youtu.be/nR5QVC8Pt0I
When is there not a thread on a 036 on 500eboard! Lengthy is a stretch, 1 page, lots of off topic convo and some opinions on wether they think the interior is cool or not, and questions about under carriage which we’ve now covered here in the listing. The alcantara is subjective, some there like it, some don’t. I personally think it’s very cool and I own a LTD myself that’s been even more so customized than this one. One does note that it’s the way it was vacuumed by the Detailer to make it looked striped and that is true. The world we live in today is fortunately favoring customized Benz’s… even sometimes the bad ones over the good, I’d say this one is pretty stylish and well done. Will serve as a proper rare, serviced daily driver! Videos to come!
Hey guys, this is the actual car he drove. I delivered it to him, notice the headlight vents, interior, Stance, even upper fog light bulb color is the same. Any imported car will not immediately smog from our experience, but can be done. A good majority of our cars end up on the west coast and usually the easiest route is to registered out of state.
What a fight, that was fun lol! Congrats to @porschecollector cheers!
@EmmaLabHi, The Plates are screwed on from factory
@xmaster35Hi, The engine pulls smooth and strong, and the transmission shifts without any issue into each gear. The issue regarding the transmission leaking fluid has been remedied as can be seen by the photos of the undercarriage. The issue regarding fueling has been remedied as well.
@BertIndeed it is, car carries a very unique aura. The belief in Japan that everything is alive, resonates with this car.
